Saloon loose screw:

In the end to get access had to do this - phew!

But the screw is still loose (screw hole cracked :-( ) ...

The screw fell out as soon as i opened up the cover.

Screw hole abt 3oclock just above right of the white/beige plastic thing ...

i would think they would repair this as a good will gesture as it not something you would expect to come loose.if they say no contact skoda UK send them the photos as well, they have always been very good to me.

Er...I thought the seller put it there to hold the car details ...

... So er i thought i get rid of it (cough)(cough) and it snapped in me hands (cough)(cough)

Besides - didnt like the mark if left on the windscreen where it made contact with the glass (still a permanent mark there) ...

For Android you must enable remote sim mode on the handset, it should then pair ok. Remote sim mode was missing from one version of Android, it has however made an appearance again with the latest version.

when you are trying to pair the phone try turning the bluetooth off on your phone then on again a few times.

I have read thru both stickies (rSAP and windows mobile).

Correct me if I am misunderstood:

1. I do not have a windows mobile nor wish to ROOT my phones (HTC / Nexus4 and don't work on iPhone4S anyway)

2. Both my HTC / Nexus4 do not have the Remote SIM Mode neither

3. Though it does seem some phones work with no problems (Samsung's)

Apart from buying a new BlueTooth unit - any other solutions I have a missed?

Hi Chan, I bought a new BT unit from an eBay seller in Spain for £106 delivered. Took 5 mins to fit and works perfectly with iPhone. Provides access to all contacts on phone etc. suggest you just do this, as it is a permanent and reliable fix.

Since Bluetooth phone connectivity is not that important to me,

I was unwilling to fork out any more money on it.
