UPDATE!

My next target has been achieved the longest in the making having to work out when I needed to reset trip and work out to the tenth of a mile what odo reading was, with in a 1/10th of a mile window at the right mileage I hit the trip reset and waited for a while.

Day before yesterday I went out for a drive that would last 25 hours and nearing its end the time was approaching I had left motorway and was just at a roundabout that leads to a twisty country road so there would be no place to stop, I looped back on myself and like a boss timed it to flick over when I was at a 100 meter long lay by off roundabout. Cat flicked over a cars length after leaving roundabout.

And without much sleep here she is!

 

 

Proof of above and that it was taken all nice and safely tucked into a layby. Car is minging covered in crap :(

Ta da. This happened this afternoon, I'm very pleased it.

 

 

Luckily I was able to pull off the main road and stop at the right time. My Maths was obviously right when I reset the trip.

 

 

I had to do this once I realised it was possible.............(i.e. I hadn't passed the mileage yet, so could reset the T1):

Taken with a Samsung phone? I found this exact problem, no idea why it does it, and regularly have to use photosuite to rotate the photo and save before selecting it for use on the forum. Just rotating the picture in photo editor/viewer in windows doesn't rotate the pic when needed for posting, even if you select rotate then save.
