Couldn't get the shot I wanted and I even went out of my way to not be on motorway when it happened. I was on the Ulster Grand Prix circuit at the time and it was no safe, legal or convenient at the precise point to stop    I bet if I played back the dash cam there would be some colourful language on it.

Tonight when I reversed onto the drive. Not bad for a 13.5 year old car, a bit of life left in her yet  
 

I got these 3 pictures yesterday. Took the first one when I first got in the car in the morning, then drove to tesco and back, got the second picture when I pulled into the drive, then drove to the pizza shop and back and caught the third one, again, just as I pulled into the drive.

The Octavia is in for a double bypass today, so I got to borrow one of my old cars I owned it from 3.5 years old with 53K on it to 90K for 2 and a bit years. It is still in the family and annoyingly driving pretty damn well, makes the Octavia feel agricultural in comparison and they are only 5 months apart in age :(

UPDATE!

My next target has been achieved the longest in the making having to work out when I needed to reset trip and work out to the tenth of a mile what odo reading was, with in a 1/10th of a mile window at the right mileage I hit the trip reset and waited for a while.

Day before yesterday I went out for a drive that would last 25 hours and nearing its end the time was approaching I had left motorway and was just at a roundabout that leads to a twisty country road so there would be no place to stop, I looped back on myself and like a boss timed it to flick over when I was at a 100 meter long lay by off roundabout. Cat flicked over a cars length after leaving roundabout.

And without much sleep here she is!
