I suppose it depends if your EGR delete is 57mm or 51mm.

My standard hose wasn't long enough, so kept blowing off the egr delete :(

Didn't know there were 2 different sizes, i'll have to have a measure tomorrow

when i fitted john's (VRS19TD) EGR delete i remember it being a right pain getting the original boost pipe over the EGR delete, had to warm the boost pipe right up in boiling water quickly dry and push on, then i suggested that john sort some different pipes :)

here's Johns post of the pipes http://www.briskoda.net/forums/topic/255091-vrs19tds-fabia-vrs/?p=3356026

and here is the original thead of whats needed (well at least i think it is haha) http://www.briskoda.net/forums/topic/274533-top-boost-pipe-replacement-diy/

hope this helps! :)

  • Author

Not that expensive really as the above lot only set me back just short of £160, end of jan it should be all done except from the lamp pod

Where did you get them sill covers from?!

Is there rings to cover the fixings? Would look hell of alot neater if there was.

Or remove lamp glass and fit from behind and re attach glass, would that work?

Yeah as the above post said from ebay.

No rings joe but most cars running these don't use them anyway here's an example. plus alot of the lugs on mine are going to be cut off as there not needed, it only uses 3 lugs to hold the ring on

Ah cool, that will look better with the others cut off. Good thinking.
