That is quite cool.

I meant to ask, why is the pic above the last tax disc to be gotten for it?

Are you taking it track/show side only when its fully finished?

Just got in a bit earlier than usual. Like to get in about an hour before the racing starts, to avoid the queues :p     :D     No updates at the moment kids... but this has happened:

  • Sod it... took it round the block and stopped for some proper pics                   Needs lowering now that it's gained ride hide... but not really got much arch gap to play

  • Thanks buddy     Slight update: The Punisher / black theme is starting to wear thin on me now. I do love the black, but it's starting to look dark grey (rather than the jet black that I love) and

I think it's probably to do with the fact that they're phasing out tax discs in the next month or so?

Might be worth suggesting it to them ;)

Mac - as Structures said, no more tax discs :(

Well today I played dentist and fixed the teeth. There was a bit of decay on 2 of them, so I polished them up.

I've now tinted the N/S passenger windows...

Window_zps90fe52f1.jpg

I've now tried to tint the rear window on 2 occasions and just can't do it. Loads of air bubbles that just won't squeegee out, regardless of how much water I use - it doesn't help with the heating lines in the way... you can only move side-to-side to get rid of any bubbles. Really annoying me now.

Leave the backing on it and do it on the outside with a heat gun so that it shrinks to the curves!

Would that not cause problems with the wiper though? If you had some small stones / grit on the window and the wiper was active, would it not tear the film?

What Phil w means,is temporarily place the sheet of tint on the rear window from the outside with the backing on and use a heat gun lightly, this will shrink the tint to the curvature of the window, then when you fit it on the inside as normal then you don't get the same problem as the film is already shaped to the glass :)

Thanks dude - it's a bit s*** atm because car parts are far outweighing my wages, but I'll get there eventually. Hopefully 2015 will be it's debut at car shows - fingers crossed :p

Well... after being dicked around by another company, I've finally got an exhaust I like the look of. I originally wanted a big oval, but after a quick photoshop... I think this'll do nicely ;)

Small update... still can't afford all the bits I want for new exhaust system, so time for a bodge.

3 months without a clean meant it was looking a bit sorry for itself... so it was time to give it an autumn clean.

R5_zps6de3a3a9.jpg

And I decided to add a little more colour. Not sure on them yet - might stay, might get binned.

So no new exhaust yet and a few bits still need mending, but at least it's back on the road :)
