Yes, Had a Cherry Red one in 2008 Reg number T1 PEU which I purchased off the GTI6 Forum from AL_Rallye. I really enjoyed mine! After selling it I went to the Darkside and had an Integra DC2.

Caliper Envy......

Well got the brakes on, the Tarox performance is awesome :)

Got the 256mm rear conversion on too, got some paint mixed up in the same RAL colour as I had the Tarox powder coated in ;)

Only downside to the Tarox is they would not fit behind the 1.2's without a 12mm spacer :(

So a new set of alloys are currently being powder coated then the 1.2's will be for sale.

Not for much longer though ;)

Aww this is why you sold your 312's :) which are still in the bodyshop ! Taking ages... They look amazing fair play, have you had to change the booster or still using standard ?

Love the fact you kept with the green :)

Cheers, yeah was going to keep the 312's to use in the winter, but changed my mind :)

It's a vac pump on a derv rather than a booster/servo,not sure if you can change them but the performance of these is unreal!

Slightly longer brake pedal than a standard single piston sliding caliper, but the clamping force is massive.

Love the fact you kept with the green :)

Cheers John, yeah like the green VRS caliper thing :D

Ah my bad, my mate has a mk1 caddy and I remember changing the booster when he fitted g60 brakes. They look like some serious kit ! I'm looking forward to my 312's, lovely car too mate :)

Love this car. The polar opposite of mine, this gets driven in all weather, gets its head kicked in daily and still looks amazing.

Still got (a tiny bit) of caliper envy....... :notme:

Looks great. I was going to ask about the pro race 1.2s and clearance.

Are they 7j?

Alex's hard work on the polishing last year is still looking good :D

6 will always out trump 4 though ;)

Yeah 7J they are, thought they would be ok :(

Think 8J's would prob be ok.

Got some TD pro-race 3's to go on in 7x17 same offset as the 1.2's and they clear the calipers with ease :)

Nice, I'm on the hunt for some lightweight track wheels to clear my D2s

I'm more concerned about the "pink" screenwash than complete lack of engine and gearbox..

Joking apart, it'll be back better and faster in no time

Still looks great without an engine lol.

Heard about your issues fella, hope its not too costly of a fix for you. If you need a lift give us a shout.
