So Oscar has gone to retirement at the auctions and the newbie has arrived!

 

Loving driving it so far and am quickly getting used to a manual again after 6 years of an autobox. Canton sounds good, seats are comfy, looks fabulous, very enjoyable to drive

 

Only minor points so far - I need rubber foot mats as the fabric ones are filthy thanks to crappy weather. The fabric on the seats and the interior being black makes dust, dirt and the annoying white undercoat hairs on my dogs show up very very easily lol. So its going to drive me nuts and make me clean it all the time lol. Also no screen protector on the amundsen so will be visiting flea bay for one of those.

I just got my custom made stuff from RhinoUK for the back seats yesterday.

Bet it smells of that sweet plastic / rubber / fabric smell :love:

Here is a guy that does the vrs mirror decals as solid ones but I like having them not all solid, makes them more subtle imo.

 

Yes I have the bootliner from rhino but I havent put it in yet. Partly because its been raining, partly due to the liner having dogs hairs on it and also because Im not letting the dogs in it just yet LOL

There were sticky pads with screws on the front, no pads on the back, just screws.

Looks great - It's the first decent pics of the Race Blue without the black pack I've seen.  I actually quite like the chrome, which is good cause swmbo wouldn't let me order the black pack as she was put off by the "gloss roof rails".

 

I notice you have the mdi/mitsumi/ami media connector.  Did the car come with any cables for this or did you buy them separately?

Yes normal mode for being parked I think is ok. Must admit I've driven 80% in sport hehe

I know the keyring is slightly out but I preferred the look of that one over the more current one they did

I didn't want black pack. It looks great on white but I really like the chrome frontal bit with the blue.

I believe the apple connector cable is £50 but of course I got it thrown in for free hehe

Did it take long to come once built. Very nice car can't wait to get my one it is status as in transit.

I've got the number plate surrounds,  but they won't be put on until I have the pressed number plates to go with it, probably from Dubmeister or other recommended seller. 

No it arrived pretty quick I think. Build week 40, with the dealers last Friday (11th) could have collected it on Thursday but couldn't get away from work.
