ops and its a DSG one as well, DOH

Congrats on your new purchase.

I have a hatchback vRS on order as per my signature, I am not looking forward to the 18 - 20 week wait.

Nice one - add a spare wheel :-)

Petrol I assume?

sorry, its diesel, as I do about 700 miles a week.

Get the full winter pack added with the heated windscreen and washer nozzles - it is a superb bit of kit :-)

Im also another "Just ordered".

I came came across here looking for the sort of delivery time scale.  The dealer was a bit vague about how long it will take, but have been promised update me after the Christmas break with a better time frame.
I've gone with the Elegance hatch in Race Blue with DSG.

Assume roughly 12 weeks unless your dealer tells you otherwise

Me too, on the just ordered list, had to get in before the 31st.

I've gone with the Hacthback 1.4 TSI DSG Elegance, Pacific Blue, space saver spare, bootnet & crew protect.  I traded the Met paint for the child's upgraded security and things being roughly where I left them in the boot, the Stealer said Mid March but you know, if it sounds like, looks like and smells like, its usually bull$h!t.  So, I'm expecting mid to late April.

Regards

T

Sounds promising, I ordered my Candy White VRS Estate on the 19th Dec, was told 21 weeks, so nearly 2 down 19 to go, hopefully get better time frame after New Year break.

I too have just ordered, elegance 2ltr cr in race blue with the spare tyre as my only option. Now just to await for the factory to reopen to find out my delivery time scale. Dealer did say that it would be twelve weeks so I will just wait and see what happens

"Just ordered" here as well (26th november) :)

I've noticed that swedish spec/options are a bit different than UK and other countries.

Ordered a vRS estate TDI DSG with following options:

Black Magic

Black design pack

Gemini Anthracite

Webasto Heater with remote control

Leather seats with red trim

Sunset pack

KESSY

Heated front and rear seats

Tow bar package (includes power trunk lid, tow bar, Tire Pressure Monitor, cargo net, variable boot floor and double sided boot floor covering )

PDC front and rear

Canton sound system

"Traveller assistant" package (includes Lane assist, Intelligent light assist, Columbus nav)

Adaptive cruise control

DAB-radio

Some of the UK options are standard on the vRS here in Sweden. For example, Bluetooth+ (incl audio streaming), on-board computer in colour, rear side airbags, crew assistant package, folding mirrors...

With some luck I will get delivery late february/early march

Man ACC, really wanted that but not available in the uk at the moment.

I ordered my green vrs estate on 27 sept, being built week03, so just short of 5 months, hopefully things will be a bit quicker for you, mine was bogged down in the delay period for various toys

Why not?

I heard from my swedish dealer that Skoda had some troubles calibrating the ACC down at the factory and that could extend the delivery time.

I think it was something to do with parts supply, there are numerous threads on here about it.

Also ordered yesterday, vRS DSG hatch in race blue. Expecting 20 week lead time but expecting dealer to provide build week in the New Year so we'll see, 12 or 16 weeks would be a bonus.:-)

If you werent fussy on the colour you may have got one from stock, sitting at Emden waiting for a buyer.

I ordered approx. the same here in Belgium at same time, foreseen delivery march

Man really sux that us UK lot cant get ACC at the mo......

Seems strange that we are skodas biggest market for vrs yet get treated like poo.

guess they get away with it tho.

How much of it is down to VAG?

Do any other 'Sporty' VAG models (or in particular Volkswagen models) have ACC as standard? If yes, is that your answer? VAG want you purchasing say the Golf.
