Just writing this really for future reference for the search function.

 

Basically was looking for an exhaust place in the West Midlands and came across DKU Exhausts. After having a talk, and agreeing on what was required, I went up and after a few hours I had a nice new 2.5” system. Built using mandrel bends and in such I way I can easily put in a back box should I want to later on.

 

A great bunch of lads who are actually into their cars and not just working to pay the bills. Their main work is with the Japanese cars working on Subaru’s, Evo’s and the like, but they seemed quite interested in my humble diesel Skoda lol.

 

So yeah, anyone in the West Midlands wants an exhaust making up give these guys a shout.

No boxes and de-catted, I can get a box added easily though. I cant fault them, they were happy for me ask questions and got talked through the process to make sure I was happy at each stage. Even got a ride in a porsche cayenne but cant guarantee this part of the normal customer service lol

Did they flange your rear box so you can bolt back on? More importantly how much was it? Turbo back decat?

Downpipe was done by the lads at Dirty Torque when fitting the GTB2260 turbo. Contact them for the best price just let them know Joel with the Fabia sent you

This time of year. My car gets a layer of grit drying on it in the rain haha. But I do like what I call speed streaks. Them cool water lines that go the length of your car Making it look like its been in a wind tunnel lol

Even more reason to wash your carbon the winter time grit is vile vile stuff

Nice.  There's a place not far from me that specialises in American trucks and the like, and they made me my custom 3" side exit exhaust, largely from scratch.

Mine is still on quiet mode haha . Kinda boring. Only way you know your accelerating is all the cars around you "go backwards" lol

Lol, cant complain toooo much about the noise.

 

Turbo flutter between 2 -3k without "trying"

Turbo whistle

Nice deep roar on boost

Occasional pops / bangs when shifting while making progress or when hard cut limiter is hit

Not too loud when driving at normal speeds or on the motorway

Ever around north west area ? Would like to hear a hybrid in action with a a good exhaust fitted. Never got to hear a fabia anything other than standard

Joel's is a GTB 2260 turbo mate! Sounds amazing!

Mines a hybrid but you can have a listen, think it would sound crap without a silencer! The extra money for the 2260 is worth it just for the noise haha.

Ive got a pd150 hybrid . But on standard exhaust.
