Not sure, i dont know if i could stay sane knowing my car was sitting at the dealership for 2 weeks!!

To be honest I'm not too bothered about waiting for a 14 plate. It's got to the point now where I just want the car, especially as my poor old 168k miles MkII trade in is barely hanging in there!

I have said to the dealer though, that if it's not ready to collect before the 15th or so, they can hold of registering for a March 1st collection. I'd just have to bite my nails for a couple of weeks...

Yep. It's on my order form that I don't want it till 14 plates are out.

Ordered week 46. If the stars align I could even be driving it on the last days on January.

Ordered 27sept,confirmed bw3,dealer agrees on me waiting till 14plate,there will be a time during feb when they stop issuing 63 reg I would have thought,plus delivery from factory it will be near march anyway,green vrs estate

Still provisional BW3 for me according to SUK, but been told there's no reason for it to be moved. I'll be collecting mine as soon as possible, assuming it gets built!! ordered 31 Aug.

I've been told weeks 2 and 4, so if I average them out it's 3....  Plus it's a green hatch, so maybe BW3 is reserved for rallye green?

 

Not bothered about the plate - mine will be VR5 3 WOW

Ive been told BW 2. Have promised myself to stop nagging the dealer until Monday when I will seek confirmation it's being built and discuss getting a 14 plate.

 

I also want to ask him to put Euro plates on it - anyone had any joy with this request?

Spoke to my dealer today & had my BW3 confirmed, at last. I wouldn't be lying if I said that I was just a little relieved!!

Just got the wait for it to arrive now, mid Feb hopefully.

I was sent this email by my dealer. I'm not sure what to make of it.....

" The system is showing build week 3 (next week) the car should take less than a week to build and 10 days roughly to ship to dealer, all being well. As soon as there's any further progress I will be in touch."

Is build week 3 this week or next? What ever the answer my car is being build next which is the same answer the dealer gave me last week (see my post earlier on the thread). The more delay means a March delivery so I'm bothered.
