You will find you won't get a tax disc ..it will be posted to you few days after...

I picked car up Monday, got tax disc Thursday ..log book arrived Friday...!!

Ive definitely got my reg no. so it must be on its way!

I have my registration and chassis number but my car is still showing Emden. My dealer is still saying 1st week February delivery. We will see.

Watching this thread with interest as my vrs TDI is B/W4 and now confirmed as built. How do you guys know about which status code you're at? If it's from the dealer I'm afraid mine's not great in the communications dept. Is there another way short of making more stalking calls to SUK. I'm hoping the ferry is on a go slow as want to hold out for a '14'...

I have my registration and latest report .... the car is in uk waiting transport. Dealers says i might have it on saturday.

Pick up is arranged for lunchtime on Friday, feeling like a kid waiting for Christmas now, can't wait! 

Well this time got the promised reg number and all being well our Octy should be with the dealer Thursday and maybe ready for delivery this weekend.

 

Also spoke to Skoda insurance regard the 7 day cover and when I stated it was an Octy the advisor said they thought I'd say that and asked was it a vRS by chance. Almost said better than that but thought better of it

 

Now counting the sleeps till the weekend; fingers crossed

Woooot, took delivery of my bw3 car an hour ago.
1.4 TSI manual estate in topaz brown. Ordered Nov 28th, so exactly 2 months.

 

Now, to concentrate for those remaining couple of hours of my workday....

I've just one pic that I snapped quickly in the parking lot before returning to work. Excuse the atrocious lighting conditions.

 

I have to say this has been a very positive experience for me overall. The dealer has been fantastic, the car arrived a whole month quicker than quoted and was presented very nicely in the showroom. I'll share pics and impressions at a later date when the car has done more than the current 8 km.

Dealer has just rung to say they have our Octy 4x4; she's arrived a day earlier than expected 

 

Have requested they leave polishing to me although I'm no great detailer, so the car might be ready Friday just in time for another forecast storm :S

There's a boat currently on route to Ireland. Arriving here on the 1st Feb. It's prob dropping off in England on the way. All I know is my car is on that boat....

Mine has finally been given a consignment notice after sitting at Sheerness for several days and should be with the dealer by Tuesday at the latest. Will miss out on this weekend's road trip, but I'm sure I can engineer one for next weekend... Permission to start getting childishly excited..?

How did you find this out? My dealer is quite poor about keeping up to speed. That said i'm not down for build until this week but would be interested in finding out current status.

 

By the way how long ago did you order? I placed my order the beginning of November for a Candy White VRS with plenty of options so all things considered isn't too bad if it does indeed get built this week.

I placed my order in october, orders went to Skoda on oct 28, was told wk3 build and to expect first wk in feb.
