Is there much left of the silver vrs

A shell, engine and err...

Various left over odds and ends have been put in my bits bus.

It was a very productive day although I am feeling it now (getting old)

Fuel tank n lift pump

head lining

front wings

engine

tail gate with intact glass

a few doors

Countless other bits but nothing too special IMO

Oh and a 3" tail pipe back box lol

With in tact glass? Didn't remove wiper motor this time then?

Wiper was stuck fast but I got it off with a hammer.

That's the correct way, saves breakage. :giggle:

They're always stuck in, :D I just remove the jet and put that nut loosely on give it a sharp tap with soft hammer and bingo :D

Just used the claw of the hammer to rip the wiper off, leaning on the boot.

Removed quite a few things today with the hammer.

Was just a bit disappointed that I didn't find the heavy duty bolt cutters until 11am as they came in pretty useful too!

By far the two most useful tools when breaking a car, you just find nothing fits back into that same car afterwards :notme:

Sounds like a great day :)

Almost got a new version of the 12 days of Christmas :D

I did flinch while you was doing that. I see the force you was putting on the hammer!!!

Well the REALLY scary part was when working under the dash and Taylor outside trying to get the front wing off... prying near the front screen.... LOL. ;)

Lol you are creating an image that I'm a cowboy :P

Richard is the true CEO of Bodge it leg it and scarper PLC after using a pair of bolt cutters to cut brake lines haha

And handbrake cable, metal brackets etc...

But I made the tea and provided the nibbles, so that's fine. :D

Bit of an impromptu Brisky meet this moring as a few Briskodians who wanted various parts for their Fabias met up at my depot to strip anything needed off the Silver VRS before it gets towed on Tues/Wed.

Work party!

Lots of space for bits in the estate!

You know people are taking it serious when...

Once the shell goes it gives me space for the Corrado parts donor, so that'll be the next car to get broken down into bits.

All in there were nine mk1 Fabias in there.

Four Fantasy Green specials.

One White VRS.

One Silver Estate.

Three Silver VRS.

And a Fiesta ST hiding near the door...

So is this the most Mk1 Fabias ever to have been in there simultaneously? Something tells me it's not.

Probably a few people who'd want Corrado parts as well, ideal find.

I'll just put the shell on ebay. :)

People are always after shells of 90s cars on the cheap to make a custom project :)

Sweet :)

Tasty!

:)

Very nice. Always liked them.

Definite workshop meet needs to be had now to accomplish the quickest FGF Fabia strip! :P

I'm in.... and Taylor can have some bacon butties in order to get my dash fitted too! :)
