1991 Rover Metro 1.1C in White Diamond with silver stripes. I loved that car to bits :( :( :(

2001 Renault Clio 1.2 Authentique in Red. Don't miss that one at all (ECU problems), though it was probably the comfiest car I've owned.

2004 Fabia vRS, as per sig.

Short list for 11 years of car ownership :) :)

Only three:

1990 FIAT Uno 45 999cc FIRE Novanta special edition with cross spoke alloys and wooden Momo wheel in Italian red:thumbup:

1997 Peugeot 106 1.1 Xl three door: most reliable car of the three: nothing went wrong in 76K but lairy lift off oversteer in wet: spun it a couple of times on large runabouts (luckily on empty night time roads)

2005 Skoda Fabia VRS:D

Can't remember them all but here are some----

Ford 100E van, with 1172cc side valve engine. Dad put windows in the back so I could go over 50mph legally.

Ford 105E Anglia. Briliant drivers car off the day, engine developed into Cosworth DFV.

Ford 123E Anglia Super. More power with the 1200cc engine but didn't seem like it as it was not very revvy.

Simca 1100. Rear engine jobby, oversteer toy even on straight roads.

Ford 105E Anglia. Ye s another as I hated the 1200cc engine.

Ford Cortina GT Mk2. Pretty rapid and a bit to lardy for me.

Lotus Cortina Mk1. ( God designed & built these. Dreamed many a night of having this) Unfortunatley never could afford one, even then.

Ford Cortina Mk 3 estate. Baby time for the family.Fell apart with rust.

Morris Marina 1.8TC. Probably the worst car I have driven.

Ford Cortina Mk4 2.0s. Bought at 1 year old and kept it for 10years, brillaint car never let me down.

Hillman Hunter GLS. Boring to look at but had the fabulous Holbay engine to thrash Ford GT Cortinas and Vauxhall Cavaliers.

Maestro 1.6HLS. At least I own up to having one.

MG Maestro Turbo. 0-60 in 6.5secs. only twice acheived in its lifetime of 2 weeks, fell apart.

Ford Capri mk2 3.0S. Fast & furious car which was very tail happy.

Triumph 2000 mk 2. Trumph Herald convertable 3 off. and a couple off saloons. My car restoring years when you could make big money.

Daimler S3 XJS 4.2. Restored this one for myself and was much photgraphed in classic car magazines due it's unusual bright red factory paint.

Jaguarsport XJRS 6.0L. A heavenly engine rebuilt by myself, shame it only comes alive over 100mph due to being an auto.

Pug 106, 206, 306, Astra thingy, Fiat fahrt box, Various hatches owned by wife, no comment.

VW Golf mk4 130TDI. Remapped, fault free motoring for 6years. The start off my VAG years.

Fabia VRS present car for afew years yet. Love it.

Think this is all of them:

Mk3 Cortina 1.3L 1st car slow but cheap to insure

Mk4 Cortina 1.6 Ghia Webber carb, lethal in the wet

Mk1 Bedford Astravan 1.6 Loved it for some strange reason, most reliable one

1980 Opel Ascona (4DR Manta) 2.0SR Berlinetta. Decent handler

Mk2 Cavalier 1.8SRi. (Green)Fun and nippy

Scirrocco 1.8GTi Unreliable and no headroom soon went

Orion 1.6i Ghia CVH Engine very asthmatic

Mk2 Cavalier 1.8SRi (Red) never felt as good as my green one (nicked after 11days Gutted)

Maestro 1.3 City was desperate for wheels to replace the above

Peugeot405 1.9SRi Comfy but flimsy

Nova 1.2 Merit (bad times)

Mk3 Granada 2.8i Ghia big old barge

E28 BMW 528iSE RWD FUN

Omega 2.5V6 CDX Excellent motorway cruiser

Sierra 1.8GLX simple everyday car

Vectra 'B' 2.5V6SRi Totally reliable

Mk1 Octavia VRS in Yellow. Current set of wheels. Neuspeed ARB F&R, H&R Springs, FSD's, Brakes and re-map when funds allow.

V6 Vectra has been the favourite upto now, Eibach's/Bilsteins. GSi EBC brakes, and threw most of the Courtneay Sport catalogue at the engine. think once the Octy re-mapped i'll have a new favourite, had the APR trial from Awesome, NICE.

A fairly uninteresting list of cars, but it's getting better..

Peugeot Expert 1.9 Van - This was for my race bikes at the time.

Astra Coupe 1.8 Bertone - Terrible car, all looks and no go.

Fabia vRS - Current tool. Great fun and plenty of go, but lacks a lot of what I want. Already in the market for a Supra twin-turbo.

As for bikes, I've had countless! Grew up on motocross bikes..

02 Derbi Senda 50 when I turned 16.

89 Honda NS125

Owned two '00 Aprilia RS125's, one of which was a race bike I was building.

96 Bandit 600 when I was 17, but got bored and bought..

01 Yamaha DT125.

00 Suzuki SV650,

94 Suzuki RGV250

89 Yamaha FZR400 race bike.

88 Yamaha FZR400 RSP track bike.

05 Yamaha FZ6 Fazer

And my current play thing, an '00 Aprilia RSV Mille.

Amongst that lot I also had a CG125 winter hack and a Kawasaki KX500, and a few others I'm sure I've missed out on. Not a bad collection of bikes for a 22 year old. :D

Yeah, they're going silly cheap. I figured it's now or never to own a silly powerful Jap import. Fuel and running costs are only getting higher..

Going to see one for sale locally on Saturday, not interested in buying, only going for the test drive, it's a naturally aspirated manual. I quite fancy the Auto box..

Some impressive cars have popped up in this thread, Lancia Delta's and the like.

1st car was a 1976 light blue cavalier 1.9. I like the car felt fast but the reality was that it was a piece of junk. Written off by me aged 21.:thumbdwn:

2nd Truimph Acclaim CD great little car 1.3 honda engine and running gear. Sold around 1997 for a tenner. I had this car from 1994 and ran to 216k with no major problems. It even ran accidentally on old chip fat, I can remember feeling hungry on every drive.

3rd Citroen ZX 1.4 Advantage another great car traded in at 236k still looking good.

4th Rover 75 2.5 auto my best car was a lot faster than people would have you believe and the smoothest car I have yet been in. Written off in head on 100mph combined speed. Saved my life.

5th MG ZT CDTI running around 160 bhp 291lb/ft. Sold the car at 175k after I had mis-fueled. The car had to have a new engine and two fuel pumps replaced, by that time I made up my mind I wanted a V8. CDTI is still running sweet with new owner.

6th Fiesta sportvan 1.6 diesal great 60mpg and fun to drive. This allowed me to buy my V8 and travel my round 130 miles to work each day.:)

7th MG ZT V8 every petrol head deserves a V8.I am keeping this car and it will be passed to my son when he is old enough. The sound is stunning running with Xpower exhausts.:D

Steve.

Good grief a VXR8! Youve gone downhill since.

Me and the wife bought it 2 years ago and then she left me for another guy. I prised the car off her before she rinsed me for every penny I owe and then I couldnt afford to run it. (had it during the 1.20p a litre petrol period!)

Was a fantastic car, shame the experience was tarnished by the ex

I miss her :(
