Escort 1.3 - reformed rightoff thanks to Ill straighten that Pete. My dad....

Rover 820e - Handled pretty well, but so slow

Rover 827i - Went a lot better but didnt handle. totally reliable

VW Jetta - Solid and well balanced handling. Engine designed by cavemen.

Rover 220Gti Turbo - Went like stink, then hit a grass bank and turned banana shapped

Ford Escort 1.1 - 5 quid from a mate and that engine would not die.

Citroen XM 2.0 - what a complete piece of poo. Back to Rovers me thinks

Rover 2.7 Vitesse - Ropy handling again but great car.

Rover 200 mk3 turbo - 255bhp and 1000 kg

Rover 216 Gsi - Honda engine a bit feeble and the car a bit cack tbh.

Rover 620ti - Not as good as they claim, but a remarkably competent car and reliable

Rover 214i mk3 - Superb driving car. If a touch basic and cheaply built

Rover Vitesse Sport - Best car ive ever driven. No ball of fire at 1500kg but what a drive

Rover 214mk3 Turbo - 300bhp this time, did some giant slaying at totb handling.

Focus ST 285 - Does nothing fantastic, but does everything so very very well.

My dad had 2 vags, and my girlfriend has had 2 vags so Ive spent a fair bit of time in them:

Audi 80 coupe - Cool, but broke down a lot.

Audi 100 2.2 - Cool, but handled bad, fell apart and broke down a lot.

Audi A3 1.6S - o dear, o deary deary me. And broke down a lot

Octavia vRS - Actually pretty good, apart from falling apart....

I recomended the Skoda to my GF so it better not follow suit and break down lol

I think with this one I had 6 years free motoring and ended up making a profit, especially as I used the scrappage scheme to get the Skoda.
