I have trouble removing ignition key after turning the engine off or maybe I am not doing it properly.

 

When you start the car, you turn the key clockwise direction, and when you turn it off, you turn it counter-clockwise or towards driver, but when turning the engine off if I turn it as far as it goes towards driver (myself) I cannot pull the key out of the lock in this position, I have to turn is slightly clockwise again (opposite of me) to pull it out of the lock.

 

Is this normal?

Yes, after I put it in P.
