Park Assist, if only for the all round sensors.  However, as you've already ordered the car, this might not be an option.

If u don't have rear sensors get after market, think you can get front ones also. Apart from that not much else if already ordered. I was having probs reversing into parallel bays with Octy 3 estate, even though I've had 2 mk2 hatches. But OK now.used to find with our Z3 with having small boot and long bonet, I was always only 3/4 into a bay. We had that 8yrs.

Park at the very back of the car park, away from everyone else.

That doesn't stop someone in a crappy old thing coming and parking next to you, then dinging your doors with theirs...  :@

Well you could put a temporary coating of this on when you park and then when you want to drive away you can take it off and stick it in the boot... ;)

Quick feedback. The rearguard for the octavia hatch fits the VRS hatch. Perfect fit.

No idea why they state we don't have a VRS model when the std version would be the same.

Thank you for that information, that has made my day. Will order one for my VRS hatch now. :)

I have been to RGM this morning to collect one on my way home from work and they asked me if I wanted it fit while I waited! Excellent service, and they said they would be changing the website to reflect that the "RBP603" will fit the vRS.

Great service from RGM. They fitted mine for me as well.

I think I missedposting on this - got one for my silver SE a couple of weeks back - excellent colour match, but check, check, check before you do a permanent fix, the bottom lip on the hatch is very tight on the RGM guard, their instructions say there should be a credit-card-thick gap, around 2 mm, mine touches and hatch needs a decent slam. Otherwise 10 out of 10. Neighbour with a denim blue Rapid quite impressed.

Ordered mine on Sunday from them, and it arrived yesterday. A test fit confirms it fits just fine on my VRS hatch. Maybe the lip is not quite as subtle as on the estate version, but will do the job just fine for me.

Thanks for the fitment info on this, much appreciated.

I actually like the longer lip it helps to break up the rear visually. Having said that I wasn't aware it was longer.

In silver, the guard and lip look like standard equipment, the match is so good. IMHO.

Ordered mine on Monday and arrived Wed'

Good looking product

Have you got a piccy?

I was considering going black and adding the chrome tailgate trim for some contrast, as I will have chrome window surrounds and silver roof rails, but if the silver bumper protector is a good match to the chrome I might go down that route.

Andyvee..this is just a thought. I wasn't sure what colour to get..even looking at photos. RGM sent me s test swatch that contained all the samples on sale which was the best thing to see. Its worth a call or email to them..and they sent it FOC.

Give me a day or so to get a photo up.

Carbon effect.

Hello All

I feel I should inject a note of caution against the praise that these RGM Rearguard protectors are receiving here. I purchased one for my car. When I did a trial fit it did not seem to sit well against the curve profile of the bumper (each end was lifting off), but I thought this would be resolved in the fitting. Sadly no. Each end is still lifting off and it does not look very good at all. I am frightened to remove it in case it damages the paintwork. It was not a cheap item either so I am very disappointed with the quality and the "look" of it with the ends sitting 10mm up in the air. A complaint to RGM has not been graced with a reply (yet). So my advice to anyone about to fit one of these is to be very happy with the way that it sits on your bumper during your trial fit before your final fit.

Can you post some pictures so we can get an idea of how bad it is?

Is it possible you ordered the wrong version... i.e. Mk2 instead of Mk 3? Hatch instead of combi etc...

Apologies for the delay - finally got round to taking some photos. It's a tight fit where the bottom edge of the hatch touches it, in the instructions you're supposed to get a credit card between - mine doesn't, at least on the right hand side. Well worth the price - someone (not me) lifted a heavy suitcase out and left a scratch.
