One de-badged Yeti, took a while to get round to it but I do like it

Swopping out the front callipers today, the ABS sensor on the Seat Leon callipers had to be custom adapted which I was never 100% happy with so I've sourced some from a 2014 Yeti.

Add in some Tarox Road/Race fluid and we're set for the Alps

I still think ADE Tunings figures are more accurate, Shark gave just under 150bhp before all the other mods so for me just over 200-210bhp is what you can get from the the 1.6tdi if you spend the money.

Let's just say a well known shop on a Dyno Dynamics rolling road, just proved to me how great a job ADE Tuning did with the mapping, do much so there are European guys with 1.6tdi's trying to replicate the project

Perhaps I've missed something, Darrell, but I can't grasp why you've gone to all this trouble and effort to achieve this, only to pull it all apart and sell the bits!?

Reminds me of designing something really cool in Lego as a child, only to find that a sibling has pulled it all to bits and made something inferior!

I could understand it if your family needs change, and you have to sell the whole thing to get something perhaps more spacious, but not the build, then strip and revert to standard.

Well known shop so what shop is that?

 

My car reads over 230bhp on a Dynocom and far less on a Dynodynamics done back to back

 

Virtually all cases a dyno dynamic under reads over dynocom so this will be interesting to see if methods were deployed to give a high reading

Not sure hat you mean! The cars put out well over 180bhp in fact its consistently over 200bhp, not cheep but proven possible to be possible from the 1.6tdi.

And I'm asking what were the conditions when you measured 180hp and when you measured 224hp.
