Corrected for accuracy ;)

I did fit the shocks and springs myself, so either version works, plus I worked hard to get the money in the first place ;)

Excellent review :)

So here is my video review, i thought the Yeti actually driving may work better, on the other hand it may be a total flop!!!

The problem with videos is that they also highlight how much drivers like to stay in the outside lane when the inside one is clear! You can't beat quality evidence.

Also, at 9:10 you seem to have missed out Shark Performance in the credits.

I spoke about the Shark stage1 map at the very beginning though, maybe we should form the 'Shark Defence League' !!! ;)

The final list is the final product so I haven't listed the Shark stage1 map because it now has the ADE Tuning stage2 map.

Darrell great job on the Yeti and the thread

Just one question what code engine is your turbo off

Must also say video is nice touch

Not sure on the engine code, the turbo is a GTC1549vz if that helps.

Perfect thanks

Sorry I've been away for a while but I've had a bit of surgery, result of a nasty MTB crash 2 years ago, on the mend now though :)

nice project, good thread

Nice project:)

Is the miltek pipe plug and play ?

Do you still have the EGR ?

Isn't the original turbo good enough, your new one lets you get better performance at high rev but worse at low, original better.

What a great read. Fair comments by the OP of all HIS OWN EXPERIENCES of companies he has used.

Its a shame some feel the need to poke at a change of tuner which the OP has made it clear as to why and to be fair, been very nice about it. Example you can clearly see on the video its an end list of products on the car. I once had a JBS/Custom Code *cough Revo* remap on my Ibiza, then a RS Tuning map. But if some one asked me to list my mods I wouldn't say them. I would say Jabbasport. Such a shame when even one of the best forums by a mile still gets the odd upset over a forum favourite not being the flavour of the month by the OP. There was a time on here when if any spoke badly of Jabbasport u'd bring on the hate, before that of a lot of the SEAT forums any bad mouthing of JBS used to also bring on the hate... interesting how things/companies change...

I love all these Yeti's with good power upgrades! Big respect for doing this and just like Mr Boss its not about the end power result but the road to get there! Love both you're cars for being so different to what they were!

Any updates on how the car is performing.

Has it been on the track now or timed, and is it the Fastest 1.6TDI in the UK that we know of ?

Stick it on a dyno dynamics independant dyno, with 3rd and 4th gear runs and report the findings here  :D

New turbo gives better around to be honest, I was fearful of lag but it's hardly noticible, the turbo I've fitting is known for spooling up very quickly.

Sorry, been out of commission for a while, cars just had its second service (20,000) at Mitchell Skoda and it hasn't skipped a beat, still loving during it :)

Not had chance for a further dyno or time as yet but I Darkside have offered to dyno it once their building work is done.

The time has sadly come to start putting the Yeti back to standard :)

I'll be putting up adds in the classifieds section but the first to go will be for grabs is:

- Milltek (DPF) back exhaust system, just a few months old

- Eiback Springs, again just a few months old.

Although I had sourced the for the Yeti they will fit many VAG Mk5/6 platform cars.

If you you want to get in there early just drop me a PM :)

First dibs on the intercooler if/when it comes off please ?

Could do a deal and takes yours off you in exchange :)

Interesting idea - logistics would be the problem though, as I need to use it daily...

Think it could only work if yours was off the road for a period of time - so you removed yours, give me a week or two to find a chance to do the swap on mine, then I pass the standard one back....

Any idea what work is involved in fitting ?
