Makes me laugh, it's been on 2 dynos and people still say it's not correct ...

You could put it on 10 dynos and because someone well known with a big name can't do / or haven't done it , it's obviously fake lol

  • Well time for a bit of an update, I'm back at Shark Performance to work out some of these gremlins from the turbo conversion. We've had issues with the Coil Pack light flashing and putting the car int

I think the point that was trying to be made was that it was 'unusual' to have such a big difference between runs and what the reasons could be?

Did we ever get to know what it could do out of a building on a road surface and from 0-62, 30-70, 0-80 or 0-100 etc ?

I did see the video on the dual carriageway but that was not really showing much or how it went before the end of the project.

?

Was it in the end the Fastest 1.6TDI in the UK?  Or the Fastest Yeti Greenline 1.6TDI in the UK?

Did it get taken to a track day?

Unfortunately not George.

It was booked in to Combe with the rest of us but couldn't make it.

I know those roads! Near Halton hospital / Runcorn. Plenty of Duals to get an ideal for performance..

This...

I'm not saying this is not possible nor doubting the results, I'm running around 200hp with 1.8b of boost, if he is running 2.1b ofc he can get 210/220+... My question is about the difference between runs which go as far as a 40hp difference...

I've not read all of this thread, is it possible that the graph shows several different stages of mapping by the same tuner simply overlaid on the same screen?

It makes sense to me that during a custom mapping session there is likley to be numerous adjustments along all sorts of axis to reach the desired goal?

IMHO a massdebate ;) about figures is only good for the pub, and real world driveability is what its all about.

What's an SE business? How that differ to the standard SE or SE L?

It sits smack in the middle between the SE and SE L

Nice work on this, should be quite the sleeper.

It's basically is an SE L, just part of the business range Skoda have for the Superb, Octavia and Yeti

Well, in typical Yeti fashion (same story with the Greenline), Skoda have upgraded it to the latest 2.0tdi 150ps SC EU6 engine ......................... they just haven't fitted the the new ECU to match. So its an ECU out job rather than a nice simple OBD remap!!!

Thanks Skoda, 'Simply Daft'  :D  :p

^^^ Said who?

Our 14 plate (`F/L Yeti) was done via OBD, so is the 150 and 190 Superb, personally I would get a second opinion.

So far both Shark Performance and SuperChips, still waiting on a couple more, not called ADE Tuning yet, started with those listing maps for the engine in other VAG cars first.

Think I'm going to contact my dealer, he will tell me if its the same ECU as the Octy III etc :)
