I ordered a Tour de France Octavia (special campaign model i Denmark) May 28th. Build date is still unknown. Dealer said delivery was estimated to August 28th. What a cruel long wait...

Yeah only options were sunset glass xenon headlights and a spare wheel

I agree, looking at the sort of timescales that others have quoted... I might email my dealership.

I've spec'd Sunset, so glad you said that. Some have slated the factory glass, but I think it's enough.

I've been told that as my car is being built this week, the dealer will "have me in the car" before end of the month. So I'd say a call to the dealer is in order Submariner, even if just to manage your own expectations. Not sure a build takes more than a few days from what I've read.

I ordered my 2.0 SE L with silver rails, sunset glass, winter pack and smart link on 28th June, Skoda UK quote an unconfirmed week 36 build, so hopeing for the end of Sept early October... (My last Octy was only about five weeks)

Been told mine is being built this week, ordered 30th May.

Ordered an O3 estate 4x4 TDI150 + rough road and a few other optionals late may, and got a preliminary buildweek of 30 - then 2 weeks later it got bumped to 29, and I was happy ..... two weeks ago my dealer told me the unhappy news of a new buildweek: 34 :-( Hoping it will change for the better. After build I was told 4-5 weeks getting it to Sweden and ready for me.

Placed an order for a tdi vrs hatch with a few options on the 7th, been told 14 weeks to account for August shutdown, no build week yet to confirm though, still early days. Based on that, will be 2nd week in October. Be nice if it came early as baby is due end of September.

Vrs diesel manual hatch, black Pearl, black pack plus with 19" extremes, columbus, canton, heated front seats, spare wheel.

Cant wait.

probably be lucky if you do get it in the first week of October, even luckier if you get it in September!!. I ordered my at the beginning of June and it's due for delivery in October sometime, it was supposed to be for September.

Strange, was that an "official" confirmed buildweek ?

I called Skoda UK, they stated it as unconfirmed. I dont think anybody knows when it will be ready untill it actually arrives.

.... now it was bumped to w. 35 .... the week I was supposed to have it in the first place - but still going to be a real happy camper when I receive it :-) And guess my bosses will too, as they have to do a lot driving instead of me.

Just had an email from the lease company. Delivery date is 10 September. The dealer is holding it for the 65 plate. Ah well. It'll be worth the wait I'm sure.

Mine was build week 30 but the dealer confirmed it's built and in internal transport. Week earlier than planned, about 9 weeks in total from order to delivery I reckon.

Hello....

 

This is my first post here ever!

Have ordered an Octavia VRS estate with the gucci sat nav job and Canton speakers along with Tow Bar (sorry) and privacy glass. 

This is after convincing the wife that we needed a 'sensible family car' having just taken delivery of our second baby boy. He was scheduled for Build Week 40 however he was delivered at Build week 37. 

I placed the order for the VRS on the 13th June and was told that it would be approx B/W 36 however it has been started early. Delivery date now to be re-confirmed.

 

Just thought id bring my bit to the party

Called Skoda and they state it will be kicking off in BW 30.

So I'm guessing delivery for BW 36?

So all in all, potentially an accurate guide from my dealer.

Ordered week 22, build week confirmed as week 30.

VRS TDI Estate. Standard spec with free amusden, brilliant silver with Gemini anthracite wheels.

I ordered an Octavia Scout TDI 2.0 150PS end of March. Eventually got a build week of 26 so will have new MY2016 spec although still not totally sure what that includes or changes apart from the off-road button and some minor interior spec changes. Car arrived in country last week and picking up from dealership on Monday. Can't wait.

What do the offroad button do?
