I also asked about delays at Emden, he said he had not heard anything and other deliveries have come through as expected, so perhaps its just a case of "pot luck"

Just my luck then. As mine is DSG but that wouldn't explain RobbySpurs delay unless it's option related.

 

Mine is looking more likely October.

My Brothers is a Petrol DSG VRS he hasn't experienced any delays.

Like I said before my gut feeling is the dealer is holding back to suit their target's. I could be wrong but I'm a cynical bu**er

WoW. That is quick delivery and blows the DSG theory out the water. At a loss as to why my build date is so far away. Perhaps dealer just being pessimistic and they'll spring a surprise on me.

Hi all, I ordered a standard manual vrs estate on 25th March. Got a build week of 23/24. Was built week 23, and I got told last week it was heading to Emden on Friday. I called SUK today and got told it landed at Grimsby docks this morning. Spoke to my dealer and he said about 10 days until I can collect!

I may of posted this a while back but my Octy vRS was collected the start of week 10 of the quoted 8-10 week from ordering to delivery. They had the car on the Wednesday of week 9 but due to VW finance who were playing silly buggers, the following Tuesday was the best day to collect.

 

Ordered 30th March on the driveway 9th June. I must say these are cracking cars well impressed with it even just being a standard vRS, only option was black pack and I don't see that very often!!

not yet, it's on my list of things to do this weekend. Checked the order form today and there is no Sat Nav on it. I will contact the dealer to confirm the full spec.

 

I guess it's possible that they might have missed the quota, each dealership is different as I found out with MB.

Hi all, EMS Highway is arriving at Grimsby today at 16:30 from Emden, Germany. Hopefully it will have my vRS onboard.

When it was ordered on 27/3 I was told by the dealer's fleet dept that it would be 5-8 weeks for delivery, 12 weeks later and it's not even in the country! I chased a in the 7th week and was told build week was the following and again last week then finally told it was at port waiting to go on the ship Sunday.

Fingers crossed it lands today, don't think I can put up with my 4 year old hand me down A3 my company have given me for much longer!

Just had an email from my dealer and build week is confirmed (the order has entered the Frozen Period, his language) for week 29.

I am surprised by it but delighted nonetheless!

Got an email from the lease company yesterday. My VRS is now confirmed in build. Estimated date of delivery (to the dealer) is 1st August. We'll see how accurate that is as the weeks slide past. Looking forward to it though!

Moon white Octavia RS Estate TDI manual, max spec except sunroof.

Ordered date 11:th of June.

Expected but not confirmed for week 36.

Just a quick update! My vRS is at the UK port. Ordered on 27th March so by the time I will receive either late w/c 29/6 or early w/c 6/7 would be 14 or 15 weeks since order date. Good news is that build week was wk22 so SUK confirmed this morning that it is my16 spec.

We ordered 2 weeks after you and it was in Grimsby 2 weeks ago, delivered on Tuesday just gone. I think its a 15MY so the nav screen is 0.7" smaller but I do get the CD player for emergencies!!

Yeah. Just with met paint and front park sensors so not big spec but certainly factory order. I guess it was a reserved build slot.

Hi, that's interesting, I ordered a vrs hatch on 25th March and was given a build date wk21. This was confirmed and I was told that car had arrived in UK on 9th June. 10 days later and i have heard nothing?

Well it has arrived! As stated before we ordered beginning of April and is now on my drive.

Vrs, met grey with a few options and it appears satnav has come as standard!

Thought I'd sign up as I've got a VRS on order.

Annoyingly after reading some of the above posts I seem to be waiting longer than other people.

Ordered Metal Grey VRS TDi on 31th March. Was told build week 21 (18th May) and I'm still yet to receive a car. I'm hoping the build week was delayed and I will receive a MY16 car. Called the dealer on the 5th June told it had just left the factory and to expect delivery the end of the month.

Think i'll call them again on Monday, I hate waiting!

My Scout 184ps was delivered this afternoon on a transporter. Order date was the 18th March and the lease company said it would be 12 weeks, so they were pretty much bang on.

Driven about 3 miles in it, but I'm happy with it so far!
