Ordered week 23 (1st June)

 

Provisional Build week of 29 (13th July) - interesting I got an email on week 28 (7th July) to say order had entered the factory, ahead of schedule?

 

"Today is an exciting day, because our technicians are starting work on your new Octavia. In a couple of weeks it will have been assembled in one of our state-of-the-art factories, and we'll be spraying it in your chosen Candy White before carefully adding the finishing touches. Then, once we've carried out a series of safety checks, it'll begin it's journey to the UK."

 

Skoda UK confirmed today its already at Emdem port ready to go.

What do the offroad button do?

Reduces the sensitivity of the Electronic Stability Control system to allow the car to travel in a slightly different direction to the steering input. Also unlocks the Hill Descent Control option.

Another week, another list of new builds to be released by the dealers. Anybody had any news?

Octavia estate 1.6TDI 4x4 With Winter and Navi pack,leather seats ,rough road and some other Things. ordered 14 july.

build week is set to week 36 and delivery date at the dealer at week 39.

Yeh I may be in the same boat.

Called my dealer who advised week 30 (this week) and I've contacted Skoda UK to confirm this.

You sure. Phoned up last week for an update to be told toy surprise it was being built this week. Not sure why moved forward so much but won't complain!

I will call and double check again. I really hope it's a case of mine being built soon. Getting bored of waiting already lol

I've seen on here a few people tracking the progress of their build: delivery. I've tried to track mine via http://www.trackmyskoda.co.uk

However when I put my order number in it just

says: "Thank you for your enquiry - Your order is currently awaiting a manufacturing build date" however I spoke to SUK on Friday and they confirmed it was being built this week (week 30).

Very confusing.

Oh no! Is that build or delivery?

Ordered 9th April, at dealer 7th July and collecting Thursday due to some disagreement.

Let me guess, Skoda have thrown a load of options at your car by accident and subsequently, because you didn't request them, they are giving them to you for free?
