Confirmed build week 6. (That's next week) Ordered 27th November. SE Business estate 2.0 150 with a few extras.

Popped into Carrs of Bridgwater earlier, requiring current lead times for benefit of our fleet manager. Currently for the model I am going to order (1.6 SEL Executive) it is 16 weeks.

Some L&K models are now 23 weeks.

Apparently Skoda were geared up for 200 Superbs a month (or week, can't remember) from UK, but current demand is 2,000.

If that's the case, I'm glad I ordered when I did. Looks like I've been lucky to have my car built 5 weeks from ordering.

that's about 23/24 weeks from ordering and the dealer has been a waste of space for the entire time. The email to the owners is in first draft to be sent once the deals done.

I feel the pain as still at week 10 for third week. No change again but still unconfirmed. Looks like April for me. Just hope current car holds out.

Ordered start of january, was quoted for may-june. Gonna be a long first part of the year.

Didnt post my comments to S.U.K. as its allready been said but if you want to see what i said................

For those ( like me ) who have ordered the lane assist camera-- they are now trying out the idea of removing the white line in the middle of the road ( have done it here on a section of road ) wonder if it will make the lane assist camera U/S ! So making it an option not worth having .

Well done maherto orded 3 months after me but getting the same time, i got mine on pcp wonder if this has any bearing on build dates lead times.

I not sure I am in Dublin, I would not say pcp is the difference as the dealer get the dosh either way. I can't wait now.

Heard about this today and I think that it's just a flash in the pan.  After the first few accidents and there will be accidents no matter what the trendies say, this will go away but apart from that, the impression that I got was that it was only for small local roads.  If you lived down here in pasty land you'd be lucky to find a road center line anyway, most of our roads are only one track, however, the thought of the M25 without lane lines is most interesting and I hope that they don't do it before Saturday when I go to Lu'non area (taking a pasty and a jam and cream scone for lunch, they don't make the double ended ones any more) to pick up my long awaited S3.  Oh and its got the full camera suite!

Yes I can't see that happening on anything other than minor roads. Centre lines also serve as warnings of hazards ahead, and imagine the carnage on a motorway with no lane markings?

On topic, I ordered my Superb last week and haven't heard anything yet, but my dealer said he would chase every two weeks. So this time next week I might know something, but I must say I'm a little nervous that I might not get my car until the summer!

Hi,

As i said we have had it on a main A road here for years -- uphill a fairly sharp bend then downhill, must admit not heard of any "shunts" but its common to be greeted by cars on your side of the road on the bend ! Back to topic - having sent dealer an Email requesting up date he now thinks week18-- nearly 6 months from ordering. Do wonder if those with quick delivery time have asked for few/no "extras" so this would account for the difference in delivery dates.

To be honest I think it's a waste of money anyway- I'm going to go with the far more effective and cheaper dual-lens version already fitted in my face...;-)

You are probably right maherto after nearly 4 months I'm clutching at straws, excitment has left me for now more frustrated but sure it will return, enjoy maherto.
