Spent the day messing around..

Scuttle pannel and wipers are back on.

Ibiza transfer tower is in and connected up.

Fitted ibiza exhaust hangers.

Tidied up some engine bay wiring.

Fitted new battery box and lid as mine had all smashed. Managed to snap a 40A strip fuse when tightening the nut back down.

Spent the day sorting the interior out. Heater isn't wired up as the ibiza had climate and fabia has A/C and electronic heat adjustment. So need to find a manual fabia heater and then wire up fan. Not overly bothered at the moment.

Seats back in.

Just rear lights to wire in and bleed the brakes.

Rided all the VWs at the scrappy for useful spare parts.

ECU arrived, fired up straight away.

Sprayed a spare easher bottle and coolant cap black to see what they looked like. Dont think theyre too bad.

Spacers arrived for front. Went with 15mm.

Had a good play on VAGCOM and sorted a few issues out..

Airbags have all been removed, the light flashes 7 times then goes out on the dash so should all be ok.

Just rear beam to swap over and fit the sensors to remove the last two lights [emoji5]️

 Hehe.

I'd probably end up annoyed at it as I tried to remain incognito... like my dam filter. Got a comment from a client that he heard me coming and I wasn't even doing anything daft... its just quite bassy on overrun from ~3k down.

So i sorted the drivers headlight tonight.. What a ball ach, none if the pins wanted to come out. One snapped and another pulled out of the pin.

Main beam was ok to start with.

Did notice the motors turned on and adjust fully, but now i have no adjustment on the headlight switch.

Also noticed the car was in limp mode.. Didnt bother plugging in though.
