All the stuff the VW Spin machine is putting out on New Models,. Hybrid, EV, Self Drive, Green, Sales Numbers not down would mean more if they could sort out their present mess, the lies, cheats deceit, and misinformation they are allowing to be given out to Owners of Volkswagen Brand vehicles.

 

The VW Group should just be totally honest and open now and then people might believe they are going to be honest into the future.

Lee Nelson caught attempting to attach cheat device to car at the Geneva Motor Show.

A newspaper reports a preview of a test after the fix.

Results so far is: power output is the same,nox emissions are the same, but a higher consumption. Co2 emissions was not mentioned. The test is done by the gernan magazine Auto motor und sport.

And it was done in real life on road conditions.

It didnt mention co2 emissions, only Nox.

Perhaps the whole test will shed some more light when its released.

If nox emissions are the same whats the point in having fix done. I recently had my car mot done and co2 emissions were low.

I guess the emissions improved in a lab test. This was done under real driving.

But thats to do with nox. Co2 emissions arent the so called problem. And if nox aint gna be improved whats the poi.t of the fix

The points to the fix is to make the car pass the lab test without the cheat software installed. It has very little to do with real world emissions...

But if like the one post says that nox isnt changed whats the point. Wasnt that the whole idea of the fix

Real world nox wasnt changed.

Have to wait untill the entire test is released to see how the labtests have been affected.

Are we to take it that the cheat device achieved very little?.

If so, why was it installed in the first place........something smells

Ive got the 2010 octavia vrs tdi and my co2 emissions were well within tolerances according to the mot tester in January. So no point in the slightest having the **** up sorry fix done that I can see

I thought the MOT was only a smoke test.

Im not sure but I think they can test for co2 cos there was a print out for the co2 level
