Not being racist but...don't German women come across as slightly domineering? Think that's also what it might be...she needs to do more left foot braking for me, wasn't much of that in the R8. She is funny though, and still fast and is a great asset to the programme. They need to use her more, much more. She ****** on Rory Reid, or he wishes...

Just watched episode 3 - have to say I enjoyed it much more than the first two. It's still not exactly ground-breaking, but it's at least better than before.

 

Plus there was that bit of the soundtrack from The Italian Job which is always good.

This week's has the potential to be good too. Fingers crossed

Given up now on Road trip challenges and the drawing of teeth.

Wonderful scenery, and Much Cheapness used vehicles are nice, celebrity on a train just ridiculous really.

 

I can watch Michael Portillo and get all that stuff from some overpaid tanned guy.

I caught it 15minutes in and enjoyed it again. Less Chris, more everyone else. Decent segment on cheap luxo barges too. I missed the start so not sure of budget but I think Sabine said hers cost around 2.5k so maybe a 3k budget. Shame LeBlanc bought a bike but I guess that's what one of the previous trio would have done.

Liked the bit about the Tesla too. Rory (?) Is good at reviewing these kind of more realistic cars...

That Aston is absolutely, stunning.

Apart from the celeb ****e (pish as always) I enjoyed it tonight.

 

Got to do something else with Eddie, I don't mind the guy but he's as wooden as a plank doing lines.

I'm done with it, I gave it a chance but the stupid challenges are nowhere near as good as previously. I enjoyed the bit on the Aston and the Teslar, they should have taken the chance and returned to back to a car show.

I quite liked last nights, annoyed at missing the Vulcan but hey ho

 

However, I will never be a fan of Eddie Jordan and Chris Evans isn't much better imo

I really like it.

Chris Evans is less shouty,matt is funny and gets better week by week.

Sabine is a great driver but my favourites are Chris Harris and the other guy who drove the tesla.

They need to bin that star in car rubbish but same could be said of old top gear.

People just don't like change but in my opinion this is for the better.

A good range of presenters and not the three stooges regurgitating the same crap.

The Ludicrous button on the Tesla was my fave moment of last night's show. Sabine grows on me each week, loved her bits in the challenge segment. I timed it perfectly last night started watching the recording at 8:15 and thus able to FF completely through the celeb segment which made the show just about perfect.

I quite enjoyed it too, and think it has got better each week. Think we all agree that the SIARCC section is silly and I'm not sure why each of the Celebs have to introduce each other or have a car contest.

The luxury barge against the train challenge wasn't a bad idea, although the chefs bit having to cook a meal seemed a bit pointless.

I also enjoyed the tesla section and would be interested to know how fast you'd run down the battery by keeping it in ludicrous mode?!

Eddie Jordan seems like they've just found a bloke off the street and chucked him in to do bits, but still, over all I'm happy to watch the next episode.

Thing is i feel im starting to like TG again, i think it has to do with less air time for the ginger whinger, more of the other presenters getting air time, less studio time, more video features via the other presenters.

 

 = Less Chris Evan  =  top gear is good.

 

SIARCC is still crap, due to the changes and the guests. I prefer 2 guests that are related ie, 2x cast of a program that enjoy cars, and have genuine rivalry.

 

- i dont like Eddie Jordan being portrayed as the bafoon. Cant he just be himself? a entrepreneur that owned and ran a F1 team, and also dabbled a little in racing... He has more car/ petrol head pennis points than all the other presenters maybe on par with Harris, and only more than sabrine due to the fact she has no pennis :P
