I tried the solution mentioned at http://www.briskoda.net/forums/topic/380829-superb-mkiii-vcds-adaptations-tried-and-tested/#entry4611928 but sadly there were no selections available ...ie: No Audi, Skoda nothing....

 

After much searching I found a possible solution by way of adding a 'Throttle Response Controller' for AUD$299. My thinking is that if a box can apply some sort of electronic wizardry then maybe there is some coding that may address this issue???

 

My VCDS knowledge is very limited and I was hoping one of the Briskoda techno experts may be able help??

 

Can anyone help??

 

 

 

I'm fairly sure that V1.0.6.24 is a paid shareware VCDS, not the free download. So start by checking your VCDS version number.

Got an autoscan or screenshot?

 

If you're not using the latest VCDS release, you might be missing the label file

The latest version of VCDS is 16.8.0, so if you're not using that then download and install it now to get all the latest label files - assuming you have a genuine Ross-Tech cable...

You have a MK2 facelift but the guide you're following is for a MK3.

 

The MK3 has very different controllers as it's MQB platform rather than PQ35 platform. I'm not sure if it's possible to adjust the throttle response on a MK2 FL.

 

Also, your VCDS software is out of date. Current version is 16.8.0: http://www.ross-tech.com/vcds/download/current.php

 

You can fit a pedalbox, this adjusts the signal sent by the throttle pedal so the car won't know it's fitted. It'll just think you're pressing the throttle harder than you are.

Sorry for digging up a slightly old thread. I came across this mod yesterday and had a look at it on my car (2012 CR170). The coding bit (0-2) is there for it in the long coding helper but it's set to 00 (not specified) and there are no options to adjust it in the drop down menu.

 

I pondered setting the value manually but I've no idea what might be implemented behind it in the ECU: it might work, it might not, or it might break something. The latter possibility is what puts me off trying.

 

Anyone familiar with how this might be implemented in the ECU on the Superb II?
