Rather a shame Skoda pulled the plug on the vRS 4x4 so soon. Wonder whether it will reappear in the facelift?

My guess is that it will likely get the 190 SCR engine from the Passat.

The 4x4 will be available on the diesel vRS again. The diesel will be the same engine with the same power as current according to all the latest press. Quite odd I think when they've upgraded the standard petrol vRS to 230 spec. I can't see them doing any other special edition diesels with the recent kerfuffle.

It includes:

- 18" Black Geminis

- Black design pack

- Lap timer

- Challenge logos on door sills

 

 

Similar to our BlacK Pack Plus, but in the UK we get  19" Extremes

Thomas more details on the diff problems please!!!

Started off as Whining/ humming on deceleration at motorway speeds. They ordered a new diff (which also turned out to be faulty on arrival) So yet another was ordered and fitted. They thought the problem was solved but now there is a new issue - on acceleration between 60-70 there is a very noticeable whine coming from the rear of the car. So it's back in the dealer. After this trip they will have had the car for 3 weeks (in 7 weeks of ownership) which I think is pretty unacceptable.

They have been made aware that this is the last attempt to fix, if this fails then I expect to be given a like for like replacement.

I have discussed this with SKODA UK who have agreed that's a sensible stance.
