what you say is  if the reverse camera has  live and earth power and video jack is fitted to pins 6 and 12  and rca ic coded to on it should work ?

If the picture was rolling and black and white the camera could be the wrong refresh rate. I had this problem to start with. Or the video wires are installed the wrong way around. You need to get the parking sensor display back and then take it from there. I found with my park sensors not working that I couldn’t get the camera going.

Off topic as usual just heard Wales just recorded highest ever UK February temp at 20.3C degrees. It's only 22C in the Canary Islands 2,000 miles south. Got to love the Jet Stream and Global warming, LOL.B)

Yep haha, considering setting my climate control to ‘hot country’ in wake of the heatwave lol. It was snowing 3 weeks ago

Got great economy last few days from a low of 40.4 to a high of 43.3mpg thanks to the warm weather. Looking at 460 miles on current tank which will be an average of about 41.5mpg. Nuts for February.:inlove:

Has to be NTSC, my first one was shipped with a PAL camera and came with the symptoms you listed. Hopefully that sorts it.

Stopped watching after 76 minutes couldn't take it any longer. Too many kicks 2nd half combined with too many mistakes usually ends badly when playing international Rugby.:crying:

Pity the men didn't have the same score against Wales as the women 51 to 12...

For the purposes of last Saturday, I took Grandfather Cakemonster's heritage and was Welsh for a couple of hours :D

Wasn't a good sporting weekend with Leicester City losing 4-1 at home (again) then sacking the Manager (he had to go).:crying:

I have some news regarding the "Skoda surround/virtual subwoofer".
So it all works on Columbus but you need to have newer version than 318. This version 318 was in my car that is from 09/16 and it does not support these features.
Now my MIB 2 Columbus is updated to 1233(release 02/18) firmware and the mentioned features work! :)

PS: after getting the update I had to reprogram all the "Controller 5F" changes like traffic sign recognition or automatic summer time adjustment. Is there anything else that comes to your mind that I could possibly touch in 5F while playing with OBD11 ?

Thanks for the update, that’s really helpful. Don’t know anything else useful in the 5F module I’m afraid. If I find anything I can let you know :)

Thats good you dont know cuz that means I dont need to dig deeper to see what else I need to change back from before the update :D

So after the update to 1233 firmware theres some "on/off.........something something idk what" error in obd11 in 5F module. Any ideas?

Ok one more thing. Now after the change of the sound settings to hex 04 I have the skoda surround and virtual subewoofer but in obd11 Im getting some error like this:

Information Control Unit Control module coded incorrectly Fault code: U101400

Hmmm?

I don’t know. My MIB2.5 on 1163 runs it fine. I don’t look at the autoscans, too many fault codes haha

Sasha, did you come across any fault codes regarding cabin heaters?

I've got an issue with mine I'm wondering wether I knocked something out whilst on Obdeleven. It's affecting the rear doors and fuel cover.

Hi. Sorry I posted this as a new topic before seeing this one. Should just add that the camera is NTSC and that I've now cleared the software management fault.

Hi,  I wonder if anyone could help me out. After reading other posts here (thanks everyone!) I've installed this reversing camera into my octavia with an Amundsen unit. It's powered by the rear wiper and I've cut off the RCA plug and connected it to the blue block in the multimedia unit,  terminal 6 core and terminal 12 shield. I then coded the ICU with OBDeleven to byte 19, bit 4.

When I tried it I got a 'park pilot not available' error on the HU and fault code B201A00 'checking software management' on OBD. Reverting to the original coding brought back park pilot but the fault code couldn't be cleared even though I've disconnected the video feed.

Any help would be really appreciated!

That’s odd, go into 19 CAN Gateway and check that park assist is activated and then check 76 Park Pilot and somewhere in the Adaptations there should be a setting for RVC low, try ticking that.
