You could save a bit of weight and improve your fuel econonmy by not driving around all summer with the winter wheels and tyres in the boot. About 88kg to be precise.:tongueout:

I must admit those are nice (not a fan of them as they come out of the factory)

Yeah if mine had come like that from new they would still be on my car now, liking the new look very much.

Thanks :) I really like them!

Martin, you can now spec them like that from Factory.

Sasha, they look very nice.

Nice!

Hmmmm. Wonder what they’d look like if the former diamond-cut bits were picked out in gloss black...? Effectively inverting the factory look?

My wheels are back!!! Please excuse the dirty car but this week I have broken my Brother’s Fabia and my Dad’s Alfa 159 so I’ve just bolted my wheels on and got moving as I’ve no time today to fit the new rear brakes or clean the car. As you can see I went with Silver Sparkle and 235/35/19 Toyo Proxes Sport tyres and I love them :inlove:

Wow these look so much better than the original factory colour! What a significant difference for the better!

Don’t know. My original plan was to have them done the same grey and paint the old diamond section a chrome silver to match the effect but then I saw some silver ones and it really changed my mind on silver Xtreme’s. As they are now a factory finish it made sense to try this. They look bomb in silver, they look even bigger than before and the 235 tyres really fill them out. Coupled with the rear 15mm spacers I couldn’t be happier with them. Now just to fill the rear wheels out with those 310mm brakes when I get chance!

Was hoping you'd go for silver or a lighter grey colour, looks great imho.  Biased as my Quartz SE L has silver wheels.

I think the shape of the extremes gets a bit lost with gloss black which is a pity to do as they are an interesting shape.

I was apprehensive that the car would lose its stealth appeal as it is blacked out all over, but it honestly hasn't, and it's made me appreciate the grey paint a little more. The sparkle finish also helps haha and I don't feel the wheels have lost their distinctive shape. Tbf I'm just stoked to have immaculate wheels on this car for the first time. I hate tatty wheels so anything would have been an improvement!

Definitely, the silver shows off the shape nicely.

They look pretty damn good.  I think black would have been overkill with the grey paint.  There's no contrast to make either stand out and it just becomes a sea of darkness.

I think some gloss black or silver brake caliper paint would look pretty nice :)

They look great! Very tidy indeed!

I had Proxes Sports on a different car and they were great tyres, quiet and good in wet or dry weather but didn't last too long.

They look so good I decided to try and turn mine silver this afternoon. :@3AB7FF01-2559-490D-9081-7504803D916A.thumb.jpeg.c967eaf0cdc6b1c45e3afb83736c36cb.jpeg

I’m aware that they aren’t the most durable but it’s all I could get next day delivery in 235 width after the mess up from the tyre supplier.

He's thinking of bolting on some Silver Extremes for qualifying today because they look so damn good.

Are they blurry because you were running after the thief who had just driven off in your car? Looking sharp and clean for a change, shame about the current rain.:rain:

Prefer the less arty but clear one. Hope you didn't gate crash someone's private party, or is that your front gate?
