Well well. Wonders will never cease. My Candy White 1.5 TSi SE L DSG has been built and is on its way to the port. Signed the order on 19th Jan.

I ordered the same spec as you around the same time and I was told on Wednesday that my car was on a ship but there was some sort of delay in Emden. Fingers crossed it will be in Grimsby very soon and at my dealer's not too long after that. So near yet so far ....

You went for protection pack? How much did they charge? 

 

My dealer tried adding it on it on although I never wanted it and instructed that I didn’t want it lol. 

I picked up the car today and I'm simply overwhelmed by it.

 

So many great features and such clever thinking in the design.  To everyone still waiting, hang in there.

Build week 20 still in Emden but according to chat released for shipping.

 

Makassar Highway is currently berthed at Emden, next port beautiful downtown Grimsby ETA 16:00 on 27th. Fingers crossed everyones on here with cars at the port are on the list!

Evidently that ship can carry 1811 shiny new cars. City of Rotterdam is heading from Emden to Newcastle at time of writing, 2000 new VW group vehicles onboard that one! Hopefully mostly Karoqs. 

Had a video message on Thurs 24th, to say my car had been delivered to the dealership  

Called in yesterday to sign paperwork & saw it with reg plates on, still half covered in white plastic.

Collecting it next week, after it's had the signal booster disconnected & Life Shine treatment (wangled it for free).

 

Ordered 27th Feb. BW15 (brought forward from 18), was built wk 15/16

1.5Tsi DSG Edition, Quartz Grey.

Heated screen & nozzles, space saver wheel, double-sided boot mat & smartlink.

Great spec, (you missed heated steering wheel - this acts as an additional  heater when its really cold) and you seem to have selected the wrong colour grey  but apart from that....Spot on!

Are you sure that's your car and not mine same spec as mine 

Ordered 7th February 1.5TSi SE L - Quartz Grey.  Just been on Skoda Live Chat and was informed:

"Your vehicle is currently in build, there is a delay on the seats for the KAROQ, however, we are working to resolve this. "

Just an update.ordered on 19th January.  Build week 16. Delayed from build week 11. Then it went on a 4 week holiday stay in emden.  Then got a ship. And now on holiday in grimsby for a further week. No further Skoda for me !!,,

1.5 sel. With heated screen and nozzles.

I think what is most frustrating is the complete inconsistency of when a car was ordered and when it is being delivered.

I ordered a virtually identical spec to anna_banana a week before and mine isnt at the dealership yet, and likewise have seen people who ordered similar specs even earlier who will likely be waiting even longer than me.

 

I could almost understand if a 1.0L manual SE came in well before a 2.0TDi DSG Edition (for example), but it doesnt make much sense when it's pretty much the same car.

I don't think I will come out of it too bad but feel the frustration of those who havent been so lucky - lack of explanation or logic is a sure fire way to disgruntle people!

Im from Czech Republic...dealer told me that is takes 3 - 4 months but i got a seat gate problem :-/

Nemutai, is your Yeti on a 67 plate? Out of the corner of my eye, saw one turn onto West Lane at tea time as I was driving on to HPD.
