She's gonna have to take it up the wrongen to make up for that

  • Yes they do - you never heard of a kerb crawler?    When I was five, we were caravan holidaying in the New Forest.  My Dad told me to keep still and very quiet, so as to not disturb the 'tre

How much would it cost to repair 18” black Gemini. Or how much for a new one??

Ouch... Last time now too? :D

When I priced up a replacement Gemini in anthracite it was about £300. They don't look diamond cut so refurb is your best bet. About £50-80 depending on where you take it.

Repair £40-£80 depending on who you have locally.

Those 3 pints I had are going to be the most expensive ones I’ve ever had. I’ll not drink next time and be the chauffeur.

OK, so I can double that price because I live in rip off Ireland.

I know that feeling. I was quoted £90 + vat to fix this little mess.

You need to look a little harder. I had a price for a set of 4 alloys from Briskoda parts for about £700.

I wasn't paying tbh so didn't spend a huge amount of time looking :tongueout:

I bet she said "What's all the fuss about?"

I sympathise. Mrs Dunc loves a kerb, inexorably drawn to them.

All four are now kerbed to a greater or lesser degree. Mostly small marks as the GY Eagle Assys provide decent protection.

Good of luck getting it sorted.

Maybe start drinking at home or within walking distance!!

My OH hasn’t been let near the Octy since the Xtreme’s were fitted. Guaranteed they will all be kerbed in minutes!!

Hopefully a good smart repair will see that right :)

Ouch.

A wheel kerbing clause should be a legal requirement in pre-nuptials these days :speechless:

That could run into a couple of hundred thousand.

OH, you mean how much for a new wheel! :blush

Now I get what they mean by 'Rim Protector'  - this bit is fine.

Lesson learned

Sound like the perfect future plan.

And of course it’s your fault! Isn’t it always.....

Glad I bought the Estate now. Plenty of room for a few shovels and bags of lime!!!!!!!

Fair play - she wants to give you the opportunity to kerb her wheels whilst you are pi**ed it seems!

Looks like nothing to me. I would DIY that in no time, if you can get a good spray colour match. Etech stuff isn't too mad for anthracite, not quite as dark as octy wheels but mine where refurbed like that already anyway, not sure about the black they do.

Learn to live with that. You are not going to live forever. Hope this helps.
