Llanigraham - Carista didn't to give me an option to add a Digital Speedo option to the MFD.  If it is possible maybe it needs VCDS.

AMD87 - Dash looks almost the same but no Digital Speedo option.  Maybe FL models lost it.

did the fuel all change to l/km?

 

i would ask if you were local to come and look at it but knowing my luck youll be in like devon

I have just used Carista to put a MPH on the display.
You need the change car to Australia option with a few extras.
In the MFD
Change  l/100km km to MPG
Deselect tick in Alt Speed Display

In Settings

MFD Data
Tick: Diglt Display.

So it was user error all along then?

 

The info has all been on here for the last 7 years.

 

This is not a dig at you @LKMan, but this is just one of the many reasons I'm not a fan of Carista / OBDEleven etc... when ‘apps’ are this cheap, people just want changes 'to work’, they rarely actually look to see what the whole procedure is to get the coding to work, the large MPH display is a classic example of this... the actual coding is really simple, BUT there are then another 3 steps to follow in the cars settings to get it to work properly.

 

(Another other reason is because there are clearly some flaws in their ‘one click’ coding as some changes cannot be undone easily as they also change some things in the background that are not needed, so when the coding doesn’t work correctly or the owner doesn't like it, they try to reverse the coding but all doesn’t go well)
