Hello everyone, 

 

So I've had this issue for a while now, and not sure what to do anymore. My windows ain't going up and down, fuses are ok, tried disconnecting and connecting cables that go to the door. One day, I by mistake pushed the passenger window switch, and it worked, for like 20 mins or something, and nothing since then. So I assume that the DC motors are ok, there is either a wiring problem or something else. If someone has any idea, please, cause the summer is coming :))

Does the full closure work using the key in the door?

If so it's probably the switches.

Nope, after spending a day on the forums, I suppose it's because of the humidity :((( 

In that case you need to replace the window motor with the tiny brain in it.

Yeah, the lady its last years, so I am not sure I'm gonna be investing :(( in a few hundred she's gonna achieve 400.000km, the engine is running like new, unfortunately, a lot of rust is killin' her. Anyway drifting from the topic, thanks for the advice tho, love this forum.

Just to give anyone coming on this forum/thread an update, as the weather got warmer the windows started working, so I assume it's either humidity related (even tho I do not really think that, as the humidity levels are pretty much the same and it was a really rainy spring this year) or temperature related....which is weird (at least for me)
