Since before xmas software update done on skoda auto lights have not worked properly they just come on when they feel like it any ideas

It might help if you explained, which software update you had before Christmas and why.

Sorry the update was to save the battery and make it last longer and close things down that dont need to be runningand it was a 97CU recall software update

Hi john65 just wondering if you got the problem with the lights sorted out, as took my car for the same recall on Wednesday and the same is happening with my auto lights too.

No shaun i still have not got my auto lights sorted they just come on  when they feel like it or after 1min 20seconds of the engine running. And when they do come on if i stop go shopping then get back in car 30mins later or so there is a delay before they switch back on told skoda dealer who are trying to email skoda at milton keynes head quarters but not heard anything yet
