After weeks of searching i finally found this forum and i hope, that i can get here THE firmware update, that my car dealer wont give me, to eleminate several bugs.

I would be very happy if you @pab567 (maybe the godfather of skoda firmware ;)) could provide me the latest firmware for my Skoda Octavia III (2019). More Details in the screenshot.

Not necessarily looking to update immediately but can anyone confirm what infotainment system I have, if there is an update and if there is any point updating it either from here or paying for one from VAG updates?

If you hold the menu button for some seconds, you enter the service menu and there you can see your software train version and your firmware version.
Don't pay  for firmwares from VAG updates, instead google for "MIB solution" and you'll find a site  with documentation and many (all?) firmware versions available.

Hey guys, 

I've finally found the solution for my problem, (which was a sort of boot loop)

everything works as expected.

 

Now ofcourse, new problems are at hand.

 

I've worked with the mib toolbox to patch the unit, 

Used OBD-eleven to insert FEC-codes, all accepted. Including the one for Android Auto and Carplay, but in the menu, they don't show up. If I connect a phone, I doesn't see the unit 

 

any ideas here????

I once got a file to update my Amundson, but unfortunately my system won't update.

When I put in the SD-card the system first says "update files found".

But as soon I go to system-settings and do "Update Software" it says "no update files found or ...",

Can it be that my download maybe is not ok "MST2_EU_SK_ZR_P0367T.7z". It has 3,36GB, should it be larger?

Thats because you are using the wrong software update funktion. Do a long press onto the menu button and use the than showing service menu to update your unit.

I mis-clicked, so my post was already submitted.

Hello, I have a 2013 skoda octavia mk3, it had a bolero radio without Apple car play android auto and mirror link, it did have voice control, bluetooth, hands-free, etc., and I bought a scrapping unit 5q0035840b and screen 5e0919605n, it had a lock of components I could see everything that the unit had, appel car play mirror link android auto, skoda dealer removed component protection and everything works but the android auto mirror link and appel car play does not work, skoda says that I have to buy the code for that to work, is there a way to activate it? I wait for answers, I do not have access to odis, I can have access to vagcom and obd11 thanks

Correct, CarPlay and Android Auto are SWaP (SoftWare as a Product) which means a code is needed to unlock it, I *think* the code is VIN specific (many are).
