With 2 8 berth cabins, I should think we'll be OK in the end. We're going to have to commit on numbers soon though. I make it potentially 16 people, and not all wish to share the same bed. :P I'd rather find a nice fraulein in Friday night to share mine.

Park Heilbachsee is aparrently 15km from the Nurburgring F1 circuit, and 28 km from cochem (so probably in between)

Yes, is on route from the Ring to Cochem. Turn left at the junction where Kelberg is to the right. If the Eupen road is still up in August, you'll probably come in from Kelberg.

Right to save messing around i have booked 2 villas at the Center Parcs.

the total cost is 1050 euros between all of us who will be staying there.

In the booking i could only book for 14 people even though they are both 8 berth villas/cabins.

i haven't booked any extras as we can all sort ourselves out and we can either all eat in the facilities in the Park or go out.

And Breakfast can be got at the ring as we'll all be wanting to get to the Ring at 8am for opening time.

Then beer can be bought and put in the fridge!!!

I really do hope that this arrangement suits everybody,well i've got my fingers crossed anyway.

And I want some time in the pool/s.

Well i'm glad some of you feel that this is OK.

Its quite a reasonable cost really,i know we're all going to have to feed ourselves but thats not to hard to sort out.

We are up to the 14 definates now with 4 others who may be requiring somewhere aswell.

I know of one other possible from here but he won't mind sleeping on the floor,he knows who he is!!!!!!

so we are up to the required numbers which i'm very pleased about.

If more people do want to come along then if we know soon enough i'm sure we'd be able to get another cabin/villa.

Alex, you can leave me and my cousin out of the equation, I have alternative plans in place as I need to be close to cologne first thing monday for the airport, also I am not arriving until Saturday mid morning. so feel free to use my 2 spaces that Roo mentioned for MR+MRS shifty or boyced and partner.

I know some of you have been to the Ring, so may know this already.

There's a hotel/restaurant in Nurburg called the Pistenklaus (or something very similar), for excellent food, good beer and a great atmosphere I'd highly recommend this, but you would need to book in advance, maybe the week before.

You could always get a couple of minibus cabs or some sober drivers amongst yourselves, for the drive.

Steak on a stone is superb by the way.
