  • Well 13.5 months waiting and I finally collected my Octy Estate vRS yesterday. I couldn't be happier  👍😀

  • After 13 months waiting my SEL iV Plug in Hybrid arrived.    All seems good with it so far, just to understand some of the infotainment features!

  • Just took delivery of mine but had to cancel some of the optional extras

I don’t have reverse camera nor matrix lights, but I have blind spot detection system. Ambient light I think comes in Style configuration already? And you were able to add things 5 months after your order?

Ordered August 21 as well, in the UK. Octavia VRS IV - no extras, apart from the free of cost rear windscreen wiper. I have been initially advised Nov 21 delivery, pushed back to December, then Jan. Received an email in Feb stating that the car is “on track” to be delivered est. May 22. Particularly love the “on track” expression used by them…

As a follow up to this, thought I’d share my latest update in regards to the order. Have received another delivery pushback today, this time to “early 2023”. This would mean a 16-18 month delivery lead time for myself. Not what I was hoping for, to say the least.
Hope you guys have more luck than me.

yes a lot of us have waited about 12 months for our cars and some even more and are still waiting.

 Hi Alex,

Can I ask who you ordered from? I ordered same car with winter pack in October 21 with 29 week lead time initially which wouldve been April but latest update today was that there is no update. Im just asking because they wont tell me my order is officially delayed just that its not built yet haha

Yep, the terms for Octy IV are insane; 1-2 months ago they were no longer accepting orders for the PHEV, at least here in RO. The well-known delivery-estimation DE webpage says: Q3.2023 delivery for an IV ordered now.
Really looking forward to hear about some of you long-waiting clients receive your cars; at least those with "in production" status for the past month, now that the factory is recovering from the door panel crisis.

i get a update every friday afternoon in the last update it said 22 april expected delivery.i have had that many push backs.like a lot of others said on here will not believe a word they say until i have the keys in my hand.

Will keep you posted, no worries 😉

Just like my Scala order 6-7/21 . I ordered with a 'sure' delivery oktober '21. Then it went to a probable estimate march/april22. Then beginning 2022 i got an unkown production date. Now few days back i got a probable  estimate end 2022. That while more recent ordered cars got delivered. I wont be surprised it will also be early 2023 honestly. Like i said before this Skoda is the last one we buy, the way they produce cars  by order is a ****show.

I thought that Scalas were not that problematic. Before I ordered my Octy I had my eye on Scala as well, went for a test drive, but driving Octy and having a different engine palette to choose from convinced me in favour of the latter. Was really a no brainer after the test drive. But anyway, what I wanted to say that the dealer advertised 3-4 month waiting time for Scala and 5-7 for Octy (in Aug 21). I see now that there are issues for those as well. Not many Scalas on our roads though.

the reason we bought the Scala was for me the delivery time. It was promised it was not a problem like the Kodiaq, Kamiq, Karoq and octavia. It was hoenstly to god sold to us like that. If we knew that we probably have bought the Kodiaq instead or a showroom model then and there. So yess we are very sad about all this. There are also no stock cars to be sold at this moment and with increased prices we will just keep on hanging on. Next car tho will probably a BMW instead of a vag car.

Unbelievable. They promised a sure delivery and now this…. But yes, higher prices and no stock (beside 1.0 engines) make us hold on and hope that eventually we will get it. Unless you need a car asap.

Q3.2023 I guess it’s fine contextually, you’ll know whether or not you can wait for the car and make a decision in regards to your order. However most of us have been sold a 2021 or early 22 delivery and this is slipping away further and further…

Yess and i confronted the dealer with the cars that got delivered for orders after us, and the answer was "he cannot comment on that and can only give information he receives". The only option like everyone else is to cancel the order and end up with nothing.

I was at the dealer on Monday -my car ordered 11.03.2021 is showing delivery date week 22, so June 2022 -altogether 15 months. But the dealer is skeptical and is saying not to take that for a fact.

What is more interesting - a car that he ordered for himself on 12.03.2021 (same VRS diesel hatch) was delivered almost 2 months ago and he ordered another car in on 11.09.2021 (VRS petrol hatch) which is showing delivery date week 18.

Ordered our VRS PHEV in October 21, was told by lease company it would be April 22, this then got pushed back until May 22. Spoke to the lease company this week who have said they can't get an update from the dealer as they don't know either when it's coming. From what I can gather there's still no build date so delivery is still a distant site far far away 😭.

I'm worried that I'm into my last 12 months of a PCP with BMW that come March next year I'm gonna be without a car because I'm gonna have to give the BMW back to the dealer and leave me car less.

I think more or less realiastic delivery date is Q1 2023, because if there is no build date, it's bad news. I Ordered ir 21 august, build date is week 12 of 2023.

Literally just had to do this and driving a 250 quid honda civic just now with no build date for my VRS lol.......

It's crazy really, I appreciate there's issues but you simply can't legislate for these delivery times. I knew there was issues with new car delivery when I ordered, but was thinking I was ahead of the game by ordering 18 months ahead of a deal coming to an end... How wrong that looks to be.
