Might I suggest Finnegan's Smoothrite; all the toughness, heat resistance and anti-corrosives of Hammerite, but in a smooth finish.

Not heard of that but cheers, I’ve got some high temp engine enamel paint which lots recommended so should look pretty smooth

Cheers

Just read this all the way through. A lot of hard work but it must give you a lot of satisfaction to see it finished and as you wanted. Well done.

yes indeed I love knowing that no one can just go and buy the same car, obviously up gti you can but it’s still different :) .

Still got lots I want to do but it’s 90% there.

And thanks for reading 👍🏼

Ah 😂 it’s alright depends what your used to, obviously rapid compared to the 60bhp original, but not as quick as my last 1.8t Fabia by any means. I think it will surprise a few things when it’s mapped

Got a maxton front splitter and also another front bumper that was in far better condition then my old one, it still needs a repair at some point but will do fine for now.

My next things are get the brakes on, front bumper sprayed. And I’ve got some apr coil packs and new plugs to go in at some point too. :)
