  • Well, time for an update 😉   Everything works now! Thanks to varroom, I also updated to 0324 with a sidestep to 0308 (0306 —> 0308).   The main problem I had, was updating the O

Are these updates supposed to come OTA at some stage? Or is it just from a specific software version? or not at all?

They will not come as OTA.

MIB3 can only update misc things via OTA.

Hi again. Updated from 278 to 308 and after this to 324.

I update too the radio database to 1.31.48.

To clear error 1555 I use free app Car scanner from play store, no need pay version to do this. I do It with a generic obd2, viecar, that I have since a few years ago.

Simplemente use "Confirmación de cambios de instalación", esto está en la sección Multimedia. Hará todo automáticamente. No se necesitan códigos antiguos ni códigos nuevos.

Thanks @vegarz for this information. It is difficult to find reliable information in the open Internet (some forums no longer accept registrations).

Is the radio database a separate update file ? Would you have a name for me too lookup ?

Also I saw in the TPI instructions that you have to keep your key close to the ignition button, did you also do that ?
Do you do the update with a battery charger connected like recommended or do you leave the engine running ?

Thanks !

Mine IS Superb iv FL 2020 with MIB3, correct file to RSDB update is 1.31.48b.

The update of firmware 278 to 308 takes around 15 min.

Same time from 308 to 324.

As mine is phev there isn't risk of battery discharge.

Key was in the center console as ever.

Hi, finally found a way to update sw. Thank you guys.

I bought S3 month ago with this firmware (see attachments). In mib-helper I found it's the latest fw. Am I right? So there is no newer fw for my car?

Thank you.

This topic is more around MIB3 which you don't have.

If MIB helper is saying you have the latest - it's more then likely true.

Technically you can skip the 3rd update, and go directly to the 4th one.

Thanks for this post. I am on software version 0156 and having issues. The triple / quadruple update looks like the way to go but do you have any idea where to obtain the files to do so? I'm struggling to location the older update files. TIA

If you aren't an expert... don't do It by yourself, go to dealer and refer your problems.

They must update.

Thank you. I'm fairly tech savvy. It's been to dealer twice, they told me they've updated the software but when I look its still 0156 version. They now say it needs a new GPS antenna which has failed which is causing the loading profile error. Its booked back in a couple weeks time. Before then, thought I'd update the software directly and then take in so they can resolve any gremlins. However, can't locate the older update files 😞

Have you see this TPI?

First time dealer don't update my car due an error in the process.

TPI 2060553-5.pdf

Sorry, I don't speak that language or understand the reference? Thanks

You can use an online  PDF translator.

I do It, because I 'm spanish and don't understand too.

@varooom are you able to point me in the direction of where I could source these please? Many thanks

Do you have the code to activate the navigation also? From the dealersheet? Otherwise navigation will not start anymore. The update from 0156 -> 0278 was the hard part… after that a walk in the park 😉

Hi Lennart, can you provide a bit more detail about the navigation code, how to obtain and where to input? I've done the triple update from 0156 to 0278 and have the issue of navigation not starting. Thank you.

@danakajoel check this post:

It gives a link to the excelsheet and an brief explanation how to enter it.

hi all, I had a go at updating and as reported by others, the Navigation fails to start. It's been into Skoda Dealership who are insisting it's not a feature to be updated via ODIS but instead the Infotainment and SOS need replacing. I highly doubt it but I don't have access to ODIs to attempt to solve myself. Can anyone point me in the most cost effective direction to attempt to resolve this myself? Thank you

Sounds like a dealer answer 😉 but indeed you need a code to get it up and running again. I fried my OCU, that’s not what happened to you I assume. Check the posts of Rob, he fixed it and even got more data (including the list, if your VIN is on it, you can make it active again). You need a VCI device, odis and online geko. Everything is explained by Rob, including downloads. I own the VCI from vxdiagshop but there are a lot of options…

Thank you, appreciate the reply. Are there any cheap options you'd recommend re the VCI device for someone only going to do this 1 time rather than a big cost investment? Thanks

Hola, esta mañana actualicé a 330 mi MIB3 desde 324.

Utilicé el archivo Mib solución.one

https://mibsolution.one/index.php/f/204532

P3300P_0330, el otro parece estar dañado.

Después de la actualización, Radio DB volvió a 1.31.44 y también actualicé a 1.31.48b.

No se aprecian cambios

Where can I download the MOI3_EU_SKMQB_R23802P file?
