Skoda owners I need some guidance!

Featured Replies

I am newly owner of a Skoda Octavia 2.0 116hp 2021 M/T with 109.000km.

Today the DPF light came on or the Partical Filter , so I would like some guidance about what to do and what actions to take for that problem.

Thanks a lot , hope you have a nice day

P.s Sorry for my rusty English.

If you haven't recently driven it for a good distance at a steady speed above 40mph for over half an hour, I would do that first.

Thanks a lot mate!

Make sure you select a gear where you can keep the revs over 2500rpm

You don't need that on modern cars though. In car manual there should be requirements listed to activate DPF regen. On my previous Skoda which was a diesel, it was enough to drive steady at speed above 80km/h and car would initiate regen at lower rpm.
