Also spotted on the ferry website - car +4 passengers costs the same as car + driver so ive booked a full car until I find out which co-driver is coming.

Well, the buggers must have noted some extra demand as the price has shot up for the days we want to travel.

Therefore I have booked a very anti-social crossing at 4am on the saturday morning, and I'll sleep through my £14 saving by DK port, and meet you lot over there.

Anyone else wishing to do the 4am crossing is welcome to as well. Actually kind of makes sense for me as I can simply not go to sleep on friday night. Will mean I'll be a little fresher on the drive to Dover, and can get shuteye at the port.

I booked the 8 am one before they increase the price and I can't be in Dover earlier then 7 am .

Just stumbled across this thread, by sheer coincidence I will be at the ring that weekend, i'll be in the Mondeo, you'll spot me easy, it's silver and the number plate says TIPEX.

I did think of getting on the 4am crossing to avoid the early start but decided against it.

I made a bit of a ****-up and after going back through PMs I realised STIGY was down to go with a mate, so have amended the list. Means only ONE spot is now available.

I've sent PMs to those who've not paid yet (thankfully not many at all ) If I don't hear back much within 2 or 3 weeks, I will be forced to remove people in favour of those who want to go and pay up quick.

I'm tempted to have a reserves list, if people are OK with that. There also might be the option of staying as an "extra" if you bring your own inflatable mattress (or similar) and there'll be floor space in the 3 lounges. Would ask though for payment "in kind" at the bar of the local pub, to spread the cost evenly over all those going on the trip. PM me for more info.
