  1. You might want to note that people have declined to vote, and said publicly what their opinion of fuel "treatments" is and why.
  2. Maybe, just maybe it's a sufficiently intermittent fault that it's never happened to a member of the Guild of Muttering Rotters?
  3. Seriously, I'd expect an effect from a chemical change in the fuel like this to take more like half a tankful to show up.
  4. It might be worth checking the linkage alignment.
  5. No issues with reverse? Has the gearbox oil been changed recently? If so, what make was used?
  6. What colour smoke? This is potentially diagnostic.
  7. None of the above; how do the active ingredients get through the combustion process to where you're trying to put them?
  8. @TheWanderer I pretty much agree with @Defenderben with the note that the fuel level may not have sorted itself out right until you leave the car overnight.
  9. Isn't that orange? (at least on one side)
  10. Well maybe, if you're prepared to go through a whole Single Vehicle Assessment for each truck you want to increase the nose weight of.
  11. I take it you've not changed the suspension arm bushes then? Have you rechecked the geometry using a Hunter rig?
  12. The doseur system, running out, reported negative effects on power and fuel economy... just to be going on with you understand.
  13. It sounds like a phone ringing.
  14. Just like everything else on an accessory or ignition live does when you operate the starter motor. When the engine is stopped by stop/start the engine is switched off but the ignition remains on. I mean, would you be surprised by a dashcam stopping and restarting when you operate the starter after stalling the engine?
  15. And don't use a Sylkolene oil; no-one knows exactly why, but they don't work well in VAG gearboxes.
  16. And you're surprised that the engine restarting makes the dashcam restart!? The best I can do is suggest that you find an accessory live, like for the radio (a permanent live like the 12v accessory socket will drain your battery).
  17. Those aren't features; they're just more Greenwash to go wrong.
  18. No; these only apply to trucks with separate chassis, such as Land Rover Series models. You have a unitary construction chassis body, (often misnamed as a monocoque).
  19. Absolutely; any competent specialist will automatically supply a complete belt kit and water pump.
  20. Why not? You can get a suitable multimeter for about £15.
  21. There is this "minor" waterway called the "river Danube"...
  22. Wider wheels don't have to change the offset. That said, a different offset has the same effect as fitting a wheel spacer.
  23. You don't have to buy discs or pads from a VAG main stealer.
  24. The logical answer to that is "make up your mind!"
  25. If a jack and wheelbrace are standard that is. You don't tend to get the tray if all you get for punctures is a can of gloop.
