  1. Had mine almost 18 months now and can't say i've ever noticed a problem with the brakes. I also drive the wifes brand new Kia Sportage auto and can't see much difference.
  2. I've just started hearing a crackle/rattle when the stoopid fake noise is on. It appears to go when I turn it off. Does the fake noise come from a dedicated speaker or does it use the infotainment speakers?
  3. I have a 2021 vRS and can't say i've ever had a problem with screen brightness and don't think i've ever changed anything. My Android Auto is wireless but not sure if SE L has this as standard. I'm glad you like the ACC as mine sometimes tries to kill me. SD card? USB stick? Deezer all the way totally wireless ftw!!
  4. Stuck mine on. Much easier.
  5. Don't hold your breath. I will be amazed if we ever get a replacement.
  6. It's not the 'issues' and my car has and still has many it's the complete and utter contempt for owners and their problems shown by VAG and Skoda. My car is 16 months old and STILL has problems they don't appear willing or able to fix. I think it'll be Japanese or Korean next for me.
  7. It has footwell lighting the option is just for additional colours.
  8. I think they have it as standard but mine has the camera too so not totally sure.
  9. They had my car for 2 and a half days for software updates which didn't contain a fix for the ACC. I have asked for the latest updates which are 'supposed' to fix it but the dealer doesn't appear interested. I will never ever again buy another car from the VW group and i've had a few in the past.
  10. As has been stated many many times it's got sod all to do with 'calibration' but everything to do with **** poor coding from the VAG drones who wrote the software. The car thinks it's in a left hand drive environment and refuses to overtake on the right as it believes you to be undertaking. The cars appear in their correct positions on the display it's just the car is badly programmed. And they've not yet sorted it.
  11. Virtual pedal opening as standard on the vRS??
  12. The vRS is a great car but my experience has been totally screwed by the software problems. As you say the car looks great especially the estate but mine is a petrol and mpg is **** poor. Like really **** poor. I know it's the performance model but come on 23mpg isn't really acceptable today. The only software problem mine still appears to have is the adaptive cruise issue that tries to kill me several times each and every motorway journey, well actually not every journey as sometimes it works as it should. Hopefully by the time yours is delivered all the 'issues' will have been sorted and you'll be able to enjoy your car. I'm so ****ed off with my experience i'll never again give VW group any of my hard earned.
  13. My vRS would have been more highly priced but the camera was an extra.
  14. Looks like my race blue vRS.
  15. I can't really say it bothers me to be honest. The lane keep assist however......that always gets switched off.
  16. No. Just no. Mine is 13 months old now and they still haven't fixed the potentially VERY dangerous ACC issue. Just had a few days at my static with a 40ish mile drive there and back. Return journey it behaved faultlessly however, on the way there it was braking at EVERY overtake. I really want to love this car but the faults and VAG's total inability to fix them have made sure this will be the last VW group car I ever buy. Buy something else, anything else, that has been designed and built by people not complete bloody idiots.
  17. I love my vRS but it will be the last Skoda (or indeed any VAG car) I shall ever buy. And this is my 8th. The problems my car has suffered although not as bad as some have ranged from mildly annoying, such as heated seats repeatedly turning themselves on serveral times before they get the message, to downright bloody dangerous, such as adaptive cruise suddenly braking when you are well into an overtake at 70mph because it thinks you are abroad. They've been out what, 18 months now? And still there are problems. Not good enough and I won't be back for more.
  18. I struggle to get 40mpg even on a motorway run.
  19. It does, just not closest to you if you are in the UK. Try using the temp furthest away and it's fine. VAGs programmers want flogging then sacking.
  20. Mine was in last week too and they definitely said there still wasn't a fix for the adaptive cruise and it's suicidal tendencies
  21. Yeah, nowhere near as good as the VAG infotainment and all it's bugs and crashes and plain shyte programming, that they can't even fix 18months down the line. Yeah nowhere near as good. 🤯
  22. Mine was in for it's first service last week and I asked if the ACC fix had been released and they said not. They still managed to rip off my engine cover though. 😡
  23. And I only indicate if there's somebody there to need it. An aid for the lazy driver. Mine gets switched off every time.
