  1. You just have to replace the infotainment reader (golve box unit), no need to replace the display unit (however you can do it if you want). The question is if you want Bolero (withput built-in OEM sat nav) or Amundsen (with built-in OEM sat nav). What do you expect from the new unit?
  2. You need 9.2" display 5E0919606D. Just cut from the pink plug an excessive piecie of plastic that does not allow you to insert it into grey socket.
  3. So now you have Amundsen MIB1, with Bluetooth, with DAB, part number 5E0035874A, with USB 5Q0035726B and fortunately you don't have CANTON sound system. You can install one of four different OEM glove box units: - MIB2 Bolero - MIB2 Amundsen - MIB2 Columbus - MIB2.5 Columbus You also need to replace display unit: - for MIB2 Bolero you can use either 6.5" model number 5E0919605H or 8" model number 5E0919605N - for MIB2 Amundsen and MIB2 Columbus you can use listed above display as well as 6.5" model number 5E0919605J, 8" model number 5E0919606, 8" model number 5E0919605M - for MIB2.5 Columbus the only display unit that works is 5E0919606D If you would like to use Apple CarPlay then you also have to replace USB port. The question is what is your budget and which of listed below features are "must have": - Video playback from DVD, USB, SD - CD playback - OEM navigation - displaying OEM maps in Virtual Cluster (Active Info Display). All units support SmartLink (Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, MirrorLink), rear view camera, voice command. features that differ them: - MIB2 Bolero - no OEM navigation, no CD/DVD drive, no video playback from SD/USB - MIB2 Amundsen - OEM navigation, no CD/DVD drive, no video playback from SD/USB, support for displaying OEM maps in Active Info Display (Virtual Cluster) - MIB2 Columbus - OEM navigation, CD/DVD drive, video playback from SD/USB, no support for displaying OEM maps in Active Info Display (Virtual Cluster) - MIB2.5 Columbus - OEM navigation, CD/DVD drive, video playback from SD/USB, support for displaying OEM maps in Active Info Display (Virtual Cluster)
  4. @Newitt pls share VIN of your Octavia
  5. 6V0919604C is just a display unit. Pls share VIN of your Fabia so I can check details.
  6. Probably you have some issues with your infotainment unit - what is it?
  7. I sent you dwonilk link for MEN2_EU_SKGPx_P0080L_8755 in PM.
  8. All checks your PM. No message in PM means I have no update for your unit.
  9. Menu SETTINGS then SYSTEM INFORMATION
  10. You have to patch swdownload. After patching it still may require to modify metainfo2.txt file.
  11. Part number and SW version of your infotainment system?
  12. @Ahmadal replied, thx for tagging me in this thread. I replied to all of you. For the future pls remember to tag me as @Ahmadal did otherwise I probably miss your post.
  13. Yes, USB is connected directly to infotainment reader so if infotainment reader is faulty then USB will not charge. If you were satisfied with your unit then IMHO it's worth to try to have it repaired.
  14. I sent you download link for MST2_EU_SK_ZR_P0480T in PM.
  15. It's hard to say if this is just the infotainment reader or both but looking at the picture you shared I think this is both. I can try to fix it and if not possible then replace but you have to deliver it to Poland. In the worst case (replacement) the cost is approx. 250 GBP plus shipping 25 GBP. Upon delivery you have to pay local import fees (mostly VAT).
  16. Because in Fabia only one slot is available...
  17. If you mean SWING then I'm sorry it will NOT allow SmartLink (unless you know somebody who can patch - I don't)
  18. AMundsen or Bolero. You will need glove box unit, display unit, USB port, harness to connect it all. Glove box unit must be patched before installation.
