Seems you already have it in the best place. In an accident things can get thrown all over the place especially if the car rolls. I'd leave it in there.

Couldn't agree more. My Varta AGM is original. Car is regularly left standing for weeks at a time and and starts with no problem. Stop start starts working after about an hour into the journey.

I've just tried the website & it's working. I did this update without any problem a few weeks ago. Download the 2 files separately. Delete the old files from the sd card (make a back up copy first) then just drag the new files onto the card. https://mibsolution.one/#/1/15/MSTD

Th That's how it's set up. All normal. Turn the key to the start position and release. The glow plugs do their thing and when it's ready the starter kicks in. No further input from you is required.
