What engine do you have? The timing belt advisory replacement has been changed. It's no longer 5 years. There are threads on here about it. There is only one washer pump which does both ends. This is one of them.

As far as I know the configuration is with one press on the fob, it's either drivers door only or all five doors.

Suggest you get it scanned and see what the error codes are.

Do you have an Octavia? I'm guessing not. The instructions given in the link are completely false.

If you search Hollowmanvid on youtube you may find the clip you're looking for.

That could be a coincidence as the system will have to reset itself after the battery has been disconnected. I'd give it a few days to settle down and then re-scan.
