Can VCDS codes be used for Obdeleven long coding?
In short, yes. VCDS and OBDeleven are both just interfaces to the cars modules. Changing the coding or adaption channels with either interface will have the same result. Biggest thing to start with is understanding how to create a backup of the cars initial configuration. That way you can always see what you've done and how to get back

2022 Superb - Aftermarket speakers/amps
There won't be a separate amp with the 'standard' sound system... It'll use the inbuilt amp in the headunit. Pretty sure that MIB3 headunits have dropped the MOST (optic) connector too 😕
-
Senior Moment….
Other way round... It should be an 8 pin connector and it'll have either 5 or 8 wires. I say that as the headlight range dial uses 3, the LED backlighting use 2 so I'd expect 5 to be populated. The final 3 would be the backlight brightness dial but as Skoda don't tend to add unused wires, you might find these are missing
-
Senior Moment….
It certainly does. It's currently got the headlight range dial fitted That would need to be popped out and replaced by the headlight range and backlight brightness version. I'm not sure if you'd need to replace the connector too or not.

2022 Superb - Aftermarket speakers/amps
The premium package includes a separate amplifier whereas the standard package uses the amplifier built into the headunit. It's likely the chip shortage means that separate amp is in short supply or even unavailable so they removed the premium package. You can still fit an aftermarket system if you want

Senior Moment….
On a Yeti, the dashboard dimmer is a rotary dial next to the headlight range dial. It's optional so probably not fitted to your vehicle... Example part: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/325291042469 Should be pretty easy to retrofit, it's just three wires and I don't think it needs coding:

One touch window problem yet again, but with a twist!?!
Might also be worth checking for fault codes and for any obvious wire damage in the door to body gators.

Smartlink as standard on Octavia Scout December 2015?
That compatibly list is useless and well out of date... My phone isn't listed and works perfectly. Googling for an XIAOMI Redmi Note 10 pro and android auto is inconclusive. It seems to be down to phone configuration and which apps are installed to whether it'll work. It's probably worth plugging it in to a few Android Auto enabled cars to check it works before paying to have smartlink activated.

Smartlink as standard on Octavia Scout December 2015?
Given you're around London, it might be worth pinging this company: https://www.vagcarcoding.com/ I've never used them but their owner(?) is an active member on the Ross-tech forum.

Help
Best plan is to get it connected to some diagnostic equipment. Those lights can be caused by many things so until you narrow it down, it's impossible to guess why. As for tyre sensors, you don't actually have sensors in the wheels or tyres. The TPMS (Tyre Pressure Monitoring System) uses the ABS sensors to compare the rotation of the four wheels to work out if you have a flat.

Youtube apk on Amundsen
I'm sorry but the Amundsen and other stock headunit don't support installing apps or apks. There might be some third party solutions to mirror YouTube from your phone although it may require jailbreaking or rooting first

Octavia 3 Engine mode button not working
Then yes, it's likely a faulty button. If you're happy with taking small things apart, you can probably remove the entire button set and try dissembly, cleaning and re-assembly. If not, I'd suggest popping them out to check the part number and replacing the entire set

Octavia 3 Engine mode button not working
Exactly what happens when you press the button? If nothing happens at all, it's likely a faulty button and needs replacing or possibly cleaning.

Upgrading Navigation Display Mk3
I will say this one last time, all four pins are required! In this instance, the "According to equipment" is because some models will have an "all in one" headunit with nothing in the glovebox area. If the screen is part of the headunit, there is no need for a external wire connecting them For more evidence, take a look at this ebay item: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/133253480589 It has the same part number but clearly has all four pins:

Smartlink as standard on Octavia Scout December 2015?
Nope - Smartlink was a £150 option in both the May 2015 and July 2016 brochures: However, by the Nov 2017 brochure it was standard across the range: It's more likely it's never been activated on your car. Unless the advertisement claimed smartlink was enabled, I think you're going to have to pay the enablement fee I'm afraid...

Upgrading Navigation Display Mk3
There should definitely be four... Some ham fisted 'technician' has managed to break one somehow 😕 Snippet from a wiring diagram showing the four wires and shield below:

Yeti burning oil. Should pistons and rods be replaced as well as piston rings?
You might want to read through this thread: Not sure if there is a fix but it's more related to your engine than this thread

Upgrading Navigation Display Mk3
I'd probably try this: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/4000182146172.html As it's Z-keyed, it will accept any colour plug. It will need soldering by someone competent as it's probably pretty easy to kill the screen if you're not careful

Dynamic Turn Signal (problem)
The mirror turn signals connect to the door control modules and I don't recall any settings to change the brightness/voltage 😕 If the original indicators worked fine, I would suggest you contact kopacek and see what they say. At a guess, you might have a faulty batch?

Any cheap D1S headlight bulbs as bright as the Osram Night Breakers?
The brightness is set by the design regulations for that particular lamp type... There is a tolerance but if you check their website, the Osram Night Breaker laser D1S is rated at 3200lm ±15% which is identical to the Osram 'original' XenArc D1S. I'd grab whichever genuine Osram or Philips D1S fit your colour temperature/price preference. I certainly avoid any unknown brands or China specials

Skoda Octavia - high beam, rear wiper and front/rear squirters faults - Help to diagnose please
The two stalks connect to the steering column control module. It will convert the output from the stalk's various resistive ladders into CAN-bus messages and ask the BCM (body control module) to activate the lights, wipers etc. There isn't much a multimeter will achieve to diagnose that... You really should get some kind of diagnostic equipment to read out fault codes and check the coding of various modules. It's entirely possible the dealer replaced the steering column control module with either an incorrect version or just haven't coded it properly! Example wiring diagrams for the steering column control unit:

Rear view mirror
I'm saying I'm surprised that a car with auto wipers didn't have an auto dimming mirror as standard... If it wasn't factory fitted then I would not expect wiring to be present. However, if a previous owner swapped from an auto dimming to manual dining mirror then yes, it should be there somewhere 👍
