Yup, pretty sure that's a highline and it'll be pin compatible. Your only issue will be the lighting configuration. Typically, there isn't a correct byte 18 value for the Octavia (which is why it's 00) so you'd ideally need VCP or ODIS to copy/configure the lighting configuration directly in the EEPROM. After fitting, it'll still need coding and remote fobs matching but that's about it

If you're sure that the WD is correct, try it and see what happens It shouldn't damage anything if it's all just CAN-bus.

There are multiple separate CAN-buses in your car. When adding a module, it needs to be on the correct CAN-bus. The OBD port is the diagnostic CAN-bus so it cannot be used for the radio.

Pretty sure they all get removed in the same fashion, namely four removal keys around the edge as per this guide:

They are on the Skoda website.... As mentioned by 100andthirty go to: http://updateportal.skoda-auto.com/en-GB Enter your VIN Scroll down the webpage Download the UK logos Unzip them onto an SD card (not the maps card!) Scroll down further Under Steps it has a section for Import of radio station logos Insert supported medium (SD, USB.) into the slot of your infotainment system. Press "Radio" > "Settings" > "Station logos" and select requested station. If the station already has the logo assigned, you have to remove it. Select the medium with logo images and select desired logo. Repeat also for other stations. Now you can remove the medium from the slot. No idea, the MIB3 systems seem to be confusing everyone when it comes to updates. It might take a while until Skoda/VAG actually decide how it should be done... Sorry

If your car is 13 years old, the projector reflectors are probably shot. Check the condition of the reflectors and lens, replace as necessary Please don't use drop in xenon conversions, they are not road legal in the UK and cause glare to other drivers. They should also fail the MOT.

If I remember correctly: - the cap on the top squeezes off, might need a light pry with a screwdriver - the purple locking bar will slide in one direction - you can then use terminal removers to push the terminal through Example with the top removed and a Purple locking bar, I think it's in the locked position, should slight right(??) to unlock: Pictures from https://www.mk5golfgti.co.uk/forum/index.php?topic=90500.60 You can see the barbs on the terminals below, this is what the terminal removal tool needs to depress: Hope that helps

If I recall, you drive a 2018 Superb? The cost between a car scanner pro, OBDeleven and even VCDS is very little in comparison the the cars value... Obviously it's your choice, but personally, I'd want to reduce the risk of messing the car up by at least using an interface with known tweaks and guaranteed support from it's developer. As mentioned above, what are you wanting to achieve?

You need to find which channels are fog lights. Take a look through all the channels for something with functions "Nebellicht links" and "Nebellicht rechts" and change those If you're able to get a full list of adaption channels and settings out of obdeleven, I can take a look.

The stereo doesn't support normal USB hubs. If you do need more than one port, you'll need to retrofit a VAG specific USB hub, something like 5G0 035 953 D. You'll also need to recode the headunit, add wiring and find somewhere for the second USB port. Certainly doable but a few SD cards is probably easier

As the OP seems to have VCDS, they can check the software version of the ECU. If it's above 9970 then it's been fixed, simples. VCDS can't perform a roll back as mentioned above

Climate control does not mean it's dual zone climate control... You can get: - manual AC just has blue to red for colder/hotter with no temperature control - single zone climate control lets you set a temperature and flaps adjust to hit that temperature - dual zone climate control has different temperatures for the driver and passengers - tri zone climate control has different temperatures for the driver, front passenger and rear passengers In this case, I believe the OP wants to change from manual AC to single zone climate. That will let them set a temperature and leave the car to figure it out With used parts, it's probably only £100-150 at a guess. Certainly much cheaper than trading their SE in for an SEL.

End-------------------------(Elapsed Time: 02:25)-------------------------- As you can see, there are separate modules for the engine (ECU), airbags and many other things. It's entirely possible for a fault to show in the airbag system causing the warning light without an EML showing. You might even find that it's a previous issue so all you need is the code clearing as airbag faults typically won't self-reset.

Shouldn't be

Odd. Next step is probably connecting diagnostic equipment to see if the headunit will communicate and check for error codes. Otherwise, maybe check for power on the quadlock to the main unit above the glovebox.

I didn't say it was? You said the airbag light was on, I said there will be a fault code explaining why... If your current obd tool doesn't show any faults relating to airbags, it sounds like you need a better obd tool.

Welcome! Sounds like you need a better OBD scanner If the airbag light is on, there will be a fault code stored explaining why.

Seems unlikely as there are no obvious hits on Briskoda: https://www.google.com/search?q="Car+Scanner+Pro"+site%3Abriskoda.net Personally, I'd stick with something tried and tested.

Google? VCP is probably this: https://www.briskoda.net/forums/topic/486882-fixed-my19-enabling-both-rear-fogs-not-working-led-tail-mod-now-available/ Q3 is probably this: https://forums.ross-tech.com/index.php?threads/19771/ Passat is probably this: https://forums.ross-tech.com/index.php?threads/20786/ Dron420 is probably this: https://www.drive2.com/l/554598613926281295/

Nope, the standard headlight range dial won't do anything with factory xenons...

Not something I've done or have direct experience of. At a guess, you'll need: - a replacement control panel - possibly a new facia - a wiring kit and sensors like this: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/4001212098968.html It'll the also need coding and some basic settings doing.

Can you post an adaption map from 09? These are the stock colours (I posted above) where the top is the dashboard/radio and the bottom is the ambient LEDs: Quite a difference between the top/bottom colours but as the ambient LEDs aren't properly calibrated, they look good enough for Skoda in real life When I was looking, I found a few alternative colour pallets for 30 colours. I'm not 100% on the original sources but I think the below is accurate. From VCP: From a Q3: From a Passat: From dron420 on drive2: I think like most things, you just been to pick colours that suit you

Well, they should turn on with a bulb warning if that's what you mean? They won't self-level so will cause dazzle for other road users though

A single 30a fuse at the fuseboard will protect both the cable and TEC3M. Same deal for the TEB7SA, it just needs one 15a fuse at the fuseboard. This assumes the cable used is suitable for 30a or 15a

Take a look for the westafella towbar fitting instructions, pretty sure it tells you exactly which fuses to use 👍
