VCDS / OBD coding inputs for MY 2020 Kodiaq
You should have a look around MQB-FPA, the section you're most interested in is profile position it returns to after restart. The only tweak I've made to my dataset is that the 'vRS mode' button only lights up in 'sport' rather than in every mode apart from 'normal'. Be warned, there are very real risks involved when modifying datasets so make sure you fully understand what you're doing...

vcds help
In which case, reinstall the latest 20.12 version and contact ross-tech for support (https://forums.ross-tech.com/index.php). Assuming it's a genuine interface, I'm sure they'll help you to get it up and running Feel free to post a picture of it as that may also help clear this up.

Towbar coding
You might want to start by posting an autoscan, the coding will depend what modules are fitted

Replacement windscreen - does ADAS need calibration
No it doesn't, it used two rear radar units behind the rear bumper Still, I agree that given the OP doesn't have lane assist, no recalibration should be needed after windscreen replacement.

VCDS / OBD coding inputs for MY 2020 Kodiaq
The first one isn't valid for MQB vehicles as there is no 'channel 34' :( The second one isn't possible by VCDS but looks to be possible by dataset modification

Canton system - can't listen to it
Plenty of people are happy with the stock and canton systems. Or at least happy enough they don't want to spend money changing it. As the connection between the headunit and amp is optical, the cheapest changes are likely to be replacing the speakers and adding sound deadening to the doors. Might be worth talking to an audio shop to see if they have recommendations? This might help:

PDC Parking Module Software update?
Best bet is to contact a few VAG retrofit specialists to see if any can tweak the module if you post it to them. Lockdown restrictions means most are probably too far away to travel to. https://www.vw-retrofit.co.uk/ seem to be closeish but I've never dealt with them.

Part number
There are numerous versions which all look pretty similar depending on DSG/manual, backlight colour and if the wheel is heated. The part number will depend on which variant it is

Playback from SD Card - MP3's first track missing from album
Our Octavia's have the same headunit but mine is running slightly newer software. If you can share the files and directory structure, I can chuck them on a spare SD and see if they work for me

2017 Yeti Rear DRL’s
Certainly possible but not with VCDS. You'll need to tweak the lighting configuration directly in the BCM EEPROM using VCP or ODIS-e

PDC Parking Module Software update?
ODIS or VCP can flash software and datasets, the harder part is finding the dataset... Where are you based? There are a few VCP owners on the forum so if you find one close, they should be able to check which datasets they have access to. Otherwise, there are a few companies that have access to ODIS who may be able to help. Including some that can do remote help if you have the right hardware

Speed ,i items to be fitted to all new cars by 2022
As far as I know, you need ODIS with a valid certificate and an online subscription to access the VAG servers. You can re-activate any SWaP/FeC codes that are linked to the VIN. Some are available to purchase later such as Smartlink or drive modes (at least for VW). I have no idea if TSR is just a dataset or SWaP/FeC issue on later cars, nor if there is any easy path to enabling it.

Change to ABS Pump part number
Welcome! At a guess, that part number is for cars a MK60 pump (with ESP) but your car has a MK70 pump (without ESP). It might help if you can confirm the part numbers of your existing ABS pump/unit

Speed ,i items to be fitted to all new cars by 2022
I expect it's become a FeC/SWaP function to stop people activating it for free It's normal that speed signs on the instrument cluster to need an appropriate camera and TSR enabled. Without the camera/TSR, it'll just show on the radio screen.

Wanted.
I'd earth it to a suitable point on the chassis. That's how the originals would have been wired in. As for the light switch, I believe it's pin 5 on the light switch to connector A, pin 21 on the BCM
-
Option codes
Those wires aren't stock. You might need to take some trim off to find out what's been done. Looks like it's been cut off whatever it was...
-
Wanted.
Given it's only a couple of wires, I'd suggest you make your own loom The DRL connector is probably 1J0 973 722. If I recall, the fog is H8 so there are plenty of connectors online. edit: I think the original fog connector is 3D0 941 165 A edit2: Replacing the front loom could be quite a challenge and there are a few variants depending on your car's equipment... https://skoda.7zap.com/en/cz/octavia/oct/2010-663/9/971-971084/

Playback from SD Card - MP3's first track missing from album
A dealer can do it or you can do it from home assuming you can download the software update. Might be worth taking pictures from the 'system information' screen of your headunit and either dropping @pab567 a PM or add them to this thread: There will be a fault code stored due to the update but it's trivial to clear with VCDS or similar and completely normal. It won't show on the headunit or effect functionality

2016 Scout key fob central locking not working
I'd suggest skipping eBay and grabbing some branded versions from a reputable supplier (local supermarket?) instead. Only because others have had issues with this style of battery from eBay and unlike an electric scale, your fob battery suddenly failing can be quite annoying

rough idle
Why do you think it might be EGR related? - P0165 is fuel pressure - P0121 is throttle position Few links that might help: - http://wiki.ross-tech.com/wiki/index.php/P1065 - http://wiki.ross-tech.com/wiki/index.php/16505 Might be worth trying VCDS to see if it'll give you any extra info
-
Playback from SD Card - MP3's first track missing from album
Feels like some kind of bug around the naming convention or folder structure you're using? Have you checked the headunit is using the latest software version?

Amundsen MIB STD2 infotainment system with Android in Superb II
Maybe post an autoscan from VCDS? A 5L0035680E worked flawlessly in my old FL Octavia and I'm sure @pab567 has sold loads to various Octavia owners too.

Android 11 & Android Auto Wireless
Sorry, your headunit won't support wireless Android Auto, nor am I aware of a software update to add it. Only the very latest MIB3 units support it There are some adapters planned such as AAWireless that should work for you but I've not tried it https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/aawireless#/

Vertical Line through Infotainment screen
If you have any problems and assuming your build week is between CW 22/2017 to CW 48/2018, mention TPI 2051234/5 as that covers this issue
-
Navigation and reverse sensors intermittent failure
There is a newer version 0478. Amongst the claimed fixes are: You can either update it yourself if you ask @pab567 nicely for a link or try and get a dealer to perform the update (TPI 2049459/10).
